    Teammate #2: Thanks for coming!

    Tasha: You guys look like me out there! [they all laugh at her joke]

    Jessie: [looking in their direction adverts her attention and walks back towards the team bench]

    Savannah: Hey.

    Jessie: [looking up in an awkward tone] Hey.

    Savannah: I thought you could use this. [she says before tossing her a Gatorade]

    Jessie: [slighting smirking] Fruit punch my favorite, thanks. [then somberly returns her attention back to Tasha]

    Savannah: You should go and say hi.

    Jessie: And get my ass kicked no thanks!

    Savannah: You’re over-exaggerating.

    Jessie: You weren’t there that night I accused her of sleeping with you she had that throw your brother from a cliff into a stampede look in her eye!

    Savannah: [smirks at her Lion King reference] She leaves tomorrow.

    Jessie: I know, I overhead her boss and a couple of her co-workers mention it when I was dumping their trash bins the other day there all going to miss her.

    Savannah: And so will you.

    Jessie: I’m afraid she won’t forgive me I made a complete ass out of myself.

    Savannah: I forgave you.

    Jessie: It’s different your family.

    Savannah: I thought she was family too.

    Jessie: [somberly stares at her]

    Savannah: Think about it and good luck! [she says before heading back to her seat]

    Jessie: Cuzzo?

    Savannah: [turning around]

    Jessie: Thanks.

    Savannah: [winks at her before the ref blew the whistle signaling for the game to resume]

    Anne: [hearing the whistle] Hey, okay guys that’s our queue!

    Tasha: Good luck!

    Teammate #2: Thanks Tash!

    The game continued and it was long hard fought battle so much so it went into overtime twice. When the final buzzer rang signaling the end of the game the final score 87 to 82 lit up on the scoreboard, they had won! The cheering and celebration that erupted after was reminiscent of a high school pep rally! Friends and family rushed the court to congratulate the team on a job well done. After years of suffering loss after loss they finally accomplished the imaginable they were headed to the tournament placing them one step closer in winning the city championship. Once she congratulated everyone and joined them for the team picture she said her goodbyes then quietly dipped out of the gym walking towards her truck.

      I was so excited when i recieved a notification that you posted a chapter.

      I wish you too a save and enjoyable New Years.

      About the story, it seems that they are all having big trouble in their relationships. It is sad. I worry about Tina and Bette. What Bette said was indeed very hurtfull, but i can understand it. Since her job offer to China, Tina encouraged her to go and was willing to let them be apart for a long time and now she has the opportunity to go to Atlanta. I know she didn’t plan this, but i can see Bette’s point of view. They need to talk and sort this mess up before it totally comes to the point of them moving on and splitt for good.

      Over the Festive Period I have read, and thoroughly enjoyed, all 16 Posts of this great Story.

      I am now quite desperate for the next post please as you have left my absolute favourite couple, Bette and Tina, in a bad place. So could we perhaps have a New Year gift of another post from you, please.

      Love the way you write these Characters, you have me crying with laughter one minute and sadness a few pages later.

      Very interesting chapter, apparently, Lara is breaking with Dana, and this one has to deal with her feelings.
      I don’t know where Alice feelings are.
      Bette really screwed up hard, well I hope the reconciliation would be as intense as the fight
      OMG, the Wicked Witch of the West (Jenny) is back, I hope she’ll fall in the piranha’s nest.
