    Lara: [angrily cuts her off again] Let me stop you before you dig yourself a deeper hole, I called an emergency meeting and agreed to meet here to discuss me turning everything I worked my ass off for over to my business partner so I could be more available to you! To you, Dana Fairbanks! And as I sat in that conference room watching my entire life’s work being turned over to someone else imagine my surprise when I see you casually stroll by take a seat then order not one but two drinks. Giving you the benefit of the doubt I assumed you were meeting a colleague or a friend but the longer I stared at you the more my gut instincts told me to keep watching! Don’t turn your head keep watching Lara! But because I was so happy to see you I ignored it and stood up excusing myself from my own fucking meeting, and before I could push back my chair I see Alice happily taking a seat across from you and then I sat back down and I continued to watch.

    Dana: [she listened in agony]

    Lara: It was like everything around me fell silent.

    Dana: [her words ripped out her heart]

    Lara: And then I just watched you and slowly everything began to make sense.

    Dana: [struggling to find her voice] Lara please—–I!!!?

    Lara: I get why you were upset about me missing Bette’s gala but what I never understood is why you continued to hold onto to it for so long, until now!

    Dana: [continued to listen]

    Lara: Body language speaks volumes, I did not see a person trying to amend a friendship, it was like watching a teenage girl experience love for the first time.

    Dana: [stares at her in silence]

    Lara: We’ve been back in Los Angeles for weeks and I have yet to meet any of your friends! Its like you’ve been trying to get me hidden!

    Dana: [clearing her throat] It’s been 10 years since Alice and I’ve seen or spoken to each other we were just catching up that’s all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lara: Do I look like I was born last night?

    Dana: What!? No, of course not!

    Lara: We have fought and argued over things twice as bad as this and you’ve never held a grudge for this long!

      I was so excited when i recieved a notification that you posted a chapter.

      I wish you too a save and enjoyable New Years.

      About the story, it seems that they are all having big trouble in their relationships. It is sad. I worry about Tina and Bette. What Bette said was indeed very hurtfull, but i can understand it. Since her job offer to China, Tina encouraged her to go and was willing to let them be apart for a long time and now she has the opportunity to go to Atlanta. I know she didn’t plan this, but i can see Bette’s point of view. They need to talk and sort this mess up before it totally comes to the point of them moving on and splitt for good.

      Over the Festive Period I have read, and thoroughly enjoyed, all 16 Posts of this great Story.

      I am now quite desperate for the next post please as you have left my absolute favourite couple, Bette and Tina, in a bad place. So could we perhaps have a New Year gift of another post from you, please.

      Love the way you write these Characters, you have me crying with laughter one minute and sadness a few pages later.

      Very interesting chapter, apparently, Lara is breaking with Dana, and this one has to deal with her feelings.
      I don’t know where Alice feelings are.
      Bette really screwed up hard, well I hope the reconciliation would be as intense as the fight
      OMG, the Wicked Witch of the West (Jenny) is back, I hope she’ll fall in the piranha’s nest.
