“Things came up it wasn’t like I was cancelling on you on purpose.”

“Oh, that’s right Tasha is in Virginia did she get there safely?”

When Lara got to the hotel Dana had dinner waiting. She knew she had a busy day and wanted her to relax as much as possible when she got home. Requesting a menu, she ordered some fettucine alfredo with blackened chicken and garlic bread for her and for Lara she ordered pan seared red snapper over a bed of rice and steamed vegetables. To top of the great food choices she ordered a bottle of Grenache Blanc. When Lara walked through the door the rough day she had immediately became an afterthought.
