Things between Lara and Dana were now acrimonious, while Lara did everything imaginable to smooth things over with her Dana let it be known through her actions she was still upset. In the past few days she barely spoken two words to her. Dana purposely timed when she woke in the morning and when she returned home all to avoid having to speak or see her. She kept herself occupied and when it was time for her to go to sleep she found comfort on the couch. Lara felt helpless and wanted nothing more to re-connect with the woman she loved. The gala was two days away and she had yet to break the news to her she wouldn’t be able to attend.
