“I know I’m not your favorite person in the world right now and I know by sending this text could possible make things worse, but I have to try. I’ve been a piss poor girlfriend, I recognize it and furthermore I own it. Chasing my dream, is a want and not a need and it means nothing if it comes at the expense of hurting or losing you. Typing the last word of the text her hands immediately stopped trembling. Reading it over she fought back the tears she desperately wanted to fall. Hitting the send button she hoped her heartfelt apology would be accepted. Glancing up, it was perfect timing her limo had finally arrived. Pulling next to the curb, the chauffeur got out and after introducing himself opened the door for her. Getting in, she sits closes to the window trying her best to mentally prepare for her busy day ahead.

Alice called into work informing them she would be into work late. It wasn’t because she wasn’t feeling well, or had car problems, she had an emergency appointment she had to attend too. She had been putting it off for the past week but knew going another day could prove to be disastrous. Pulling into the parking lot she searches until she sees an open parking spot. Finding one closes to her destination she parks then turns off the ignition. Putting on her shades she gets out of her car then walks towards her appointment. Opening the door she was greeted by a friendly face.

“Hello, how may I help you?”

“My name is Alice Pieszecki I have an appointment at 9:15 a.m.” The woman skimmed through the appointment book until she found her information.

“Yes, with Kim right?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, she’ll see you right away.”

“Thanks.” Walking towards the secluded section a smile appears across her face.

“Alice.”

“Kim, “she says embracing her in a hug, “Thanks for scheduling me in at the last minute I have an emergency and I was desperate.”

“Oh, not a problem anything for you are you getting your normal treatment?”

“Yes!”

“Come and let me take care of you.” Following behind Kim she led Alice behind two massive maroon colored curtains.
