    chapter six

    Bette: hello

    Tina: hi Bette?

    Bette: yes?

    Tina: Are you okay?

    Bette: I am fine why?

    Tina: Well as soon as my husband got home you ran out the door.

    Bette: I am sorry that never should of happened.

    Tina: What do you mean you running out like that?

     

    Bette: No I mean I shouldn’t have tried to kiss you I am sorry I don’t want to complicate your life.

    Tina: Don’ t be sorry. Look can I meet you somewhere I need to talk to you.

    Bette: Okay I can meet you.

    Tina: How about your place?

    Bette: No not a good idea I will meet you at the coffee shop.

    Tina: Oh okay then I can be there in half an hour.

    Bette: Fine I will see you then.

    I leave a note for Chalie. "Dear I came back to the room and you were sleeping. You looked so exausted I didn’t have the heart to wake you. I have gone out to meet Bette for a coffee hoping we can reconcile our differences. Love you see you later"

    Tina

    I arrive at the coffee shop and find Bette already there sitting at a table. I buy myself a coffee and join her.

    Bette: Hi Tina

    Tina: Hello. Thank-you for meeting me

    Bette: No problem.

    Tina: Why wouldn’t you meet me at your house?

    Bette: Tina you KNOW why.

    Tina: Yeah I guess.

    Bette: Excuse me I need to use the ladies room.

    I watch as she gets up from the table and heads towards the ladies room. I decide to get up and follow her. As she enters the door I follow behind her she turns and sees me.

    Tina: I need to go too.

    Bette: Oh! okay.

    Bette goes into the stall and I wait for her to finish. She exits and washes her hands at the sink.

    Bette: Are you waiting for me?

    Tina: Yes

    Bette: Okay want to go back to the talble?

    Tina: No I want to kiss you right here right now.

    Bette: I don’t think it……

    I walked up behind Bette and wrapped my arms around her waist.

    Bette: …..is a good……..

    Bette turned around so she was now facing me.

    Bette: …..idea.

    Tina: No it is a GREAT Idea.

    3. Great chapter. Tina is right it is a wonderful idea and long overdue. Now they can talk about the kiss that will change her life forever. She is about to understand what it will be like to be loved by the beautiful Bette Porter. Charlie can now take a hike. Thanks for posting. PPS
