Doctor Harris came back and told the women that they could go to the MRI-scan department and then later take some scans of her neck arteries.

“Good luck, baby girl,” Kit said to Tina.

Before the door closed, Bette turned around to look at her sister. Kit nod at her and helt her thumbs up. Kit was sure that everything would be alright.
Bette turned around and she felt secure. Her sister was having hers and Tina’s back. And if Kit thought that everything was alright then it would be like that. So with a little pep in her step, she followed Tina and doctor Harris.

At the MRI-scan room:

Tina had to change into hospital clothes and then had to take a seat in MRI-scan device. She had to sit still for half an hour.

Since she knew that Bette would be one nervous wreck right now, she started to joke around.

“Hey babe, I have to sit still, so you can do whatever you want and I won’t be able to get back at you.”

Bette feeling what Tina was doing, went along with her.

“So you’re sure that if I would get butt naked you could withstand me? Seriously Tina, you can not keep your hands off of me when I change. But I like your mask, it makes you look like Hannibal Lector. Maybe I’m gonna get me one of those and tease you until you beg me to stop.”

“Okay ladies, ms. Kennard you cannot talk now for half an hour. Please try to sit still because if not, we will have to take the scan again.”

Tina stopped talking and looked at Bette. Her eyes did the talking and her mind did the thinking.
She felt blessed with someone like Bette. Bette was gorgeous and so sweet. She was a good kisser, lover, partner. Everything Tina ever wished for in a person, Bette had it. And on top of it, she was sexy as hell. She hoped that everything would turn out right because she didn’t want to leave life now. Thinking of that, maybe she and Bette need to talk about the big WHAT IF………..

Soon the half hour passed. Releaved Bette asked Tina how she was doing.

“I’m doing fine, babe, I’m doing fine. Come on, I’ll change and we’ll go to the heart department to check my arteries. When I’m finished, let’s have some coffee with Kit and then go home.”

“Fine with me. I’ll wait for you outside.”

Bette walked outside and Tina went to the changing room to put back her own clothes. The tests at the heart department didn’t take long so soon after they walked back to the waiting where Kit was. When they arrived there, Bette filled Kit in and then called James to give him the heads up.
When she finished that call, her phone rang.

“Porter, what the heck is going on and why wasn’t I informed? I talked to Shane and she said that TK was involved in an accident. How is she Porter, where is she, she didn’t die did she……..?”

“Hold your horses, Al. She’s alright, we’re at the hospital taking a MRI-scan and some tests to check the status of her arteries. We’re just done and we’re going to have some coffee with Kit.

“Which hospital, I’ll be over.”

“Alice, we’re just done. Let’s meet at the Planet at let’s say dinner time? Is that alright with you? We will fill you in then.”

“Okay, but you better give me the full story and never do this again!”

“Yes, ma’am, I’ll remember that.”

Tina came in the waiting room stating she was ready to go. On her way to the car she called her office to call in sick. She wanted to stay at home untill the results of the MRI-scan and the other test results were in. She would do some work at home though.
Bette and Tina drove together back home and Kit drove to the Planet. They planned to meet at the Planet later on at dinner time. There they would share the latest news with the gang and answer all the questions the girls may have. Before that time they would go home and Tina would get some rest.
