When new and Old Collide: Chapter 18
Previously:
Bette‘s words are cut off by Tina‘s soft lips upon hers. Bette was stunned at first but then eventually put everything into this one kiss. After what seemed like forever Tina broke the kiss.
Tina: “Oh my god. I cannot believe I just did thatI am so sorry Bette, I don’t know what came over me.”
Bette: “Tina, it is ok.”
Tina: “No it is not we can’t do this. I don’t want to mess this up for Beth, and I am with Jaime now. I am not a cheater.”
Bette winced as soon as the words came out of Tina‘s mouth. Cheater that is what she would always be in Tina‘s eyes. Unbeknownst to Bette Tina wasn’t even thinking about Bette or correlating the two.
While Bette and Tina were doing all of this Anne was watching through the window on the porch. Bette would not destroy her sister again and Anne would make sure of that.

The following day
Bette could not sleep after her talk with Tina the night before so she drove around until the sun came up and then she found her way to her sister’s caf. The Planet was actually quite busy for seven o’clock in the morning. Everything that was said replayed over and over again in her head. Bette thought that she had re-played the kiss over in her mind about 10,000 times trying to find something wrong or to dislike about it but there was nothing. The kiss she shared with Tina the night before was the best kiss she has had since the last time she kissed Tina over three years ago. How was she going to let that go? Why was everything so complicated? The thought of never kissing Tina‘s lips again and actually having to watch Jaime with Tina was horrifying to Bette. Bette was drinking her tea when she saw Anne walk in
Bette: “Hi Anne, it’s been a long time. It is really good to see you” she stands walking over to Anne to give her a hug, which is denied.
Anne: “Bette. What the ***** do you think you are doing?”

Damn this is confuse and driving Tina crazy, now her sister get in to her business, and she don’t like it, and she will with that later and drama will getting big on next time. Ok now let hope Bette and Tina have a good time at the park. Post soon please, thanks!

Great update. Anne needs to butt out. I don’t think Tina’s been using Jamie,and she probably does love and care about her, but not in the way she feels about Bette and she never will. I hope all goes well at the park, and T&B start to do a little bit of reconnecting. Love Shane.

I really like how this is progressing along. I like that they don’t leave things out, that they verbalize their thoughts to one another. That way they can see where the other one is coming from, instead of being totally in the dark to the other’s behavior. Great chapter. Please post soon, when life permits.
