Jaime: “Thank you Anne at least I know someone cares.”

            Little does she know just how much Anne does care. Anne has had a small crush on Jaime for as long as she can remember, but was always afraid to act on it due to the fact that Anne was ‘straight’. Maybe know is the time to act on it seeing as Tina is just not treating Jaime right.

Bette: “Bette Porter.”

Tina: “Hey Bette I was just calling to see what time you wanted to get together to take Beth to the park.”

Bette: “Um II don’t know Tina. What time would be good for you and Jaime?”

Tina: “What are you talking about? Jaime is not coming; it will just be you, me, and Bethy.”

Bette: “I just figured that she might want to come. I know that I would feel weird having my fianc going out with her ex and their kid for a ‘play date’.”

Tina: “My fianc?”

Bette: “Yeah, Anne told me that you and Jaime are moving in together and that you are getting married.”

Tina: “Anne told you this? I do not know where she got that info Bette but I am not engaged. Jaime did ask me but I told her that I needed time to think about things,”

Bette: “Can I ask you what you need to think about.”

Tina: “II just need to make sure that I am ready to be in a marriage again, the last one did not turn out as I expected.” she regretted the words as soon as they came out of her mouth, something that has become a regular assurance these last couple days. “I am sorry Bette I am just really confused and all I really want to do right now is go to the park with you and Beth.”

Bette: “Ok. I will be over there to pick you up in an hour. Is that good for you?”

Tina: “Perfect. See you in an hour. Bye Bette.”

Bette: “Bye T.”

            Tina wanted to know why Anne would tell Bette that she was getting married when it was not true. It seemed like Anne was always trying to get in her ‘business’ with Jaime and now she was getting into her ‘business’ with Bette, not that her and Bette had ‘business’ per say. Tina knew that if she confronted Anne about it all Anne would do is tell her that she was just trying to help her. In truth Tina knew that Anne wanted Jaime and that she was probably just trying to help Jaime out but Tina was not going to have it.

Anne: “Hello?”

Tina: “Would you like to tell me what the ***** you were thinking when you told Bette that I was marrying Jaime and that we were moving in together. I mean I know that you are crushing on my girlfriend but I never thought that you would try and help her in destroying my daughter’s chances at having both her parents in her life.”

Anne: “Whoa, Whoa there Tina I soooo do not have a crush on Jaime. I told Bette that you were getting married because let’s not lie to ourselves you will eventually marry Jaime.”

Tina: “How do you know that? I am so confused by Jaime right now that I don’t even know if I want to still be in a relationship with her let alone be in a marriage.”

Anne: “Tina, Jaime is the best thing that has happened to you in along time do not ruin it. You will regret it if you push her away.”

Tina: “I really cannot deal with this right now I have to get Beth ready. Bette will be here in 15 min and I haven’t gotten anything done. Bye Anne, we will talk about this later.”
