“His mother apparently” The Sergeant jutted his chin in Kevin’s direction. The officers detaining him were in the process of escorting him out of the airport. “He had spoken to her, given his complete flight information. She called 911 right away”
Tina expelled a heavy breath, beyond grateful for Kevin’s mother. She promised to call the woman the following day to thank her.
At that moment, the officers passed by with a surprisingly cooperative Kevin between them. His gaze met Tina’s, silently asking forgiveness. Whether it was his presence or the unconvincing look itself, Tina walked away from the group around her and made her way over to Kevin. The officers continued to walk, oblivious to the angry approaching blonde until it was too late.
Kevin saw her coming however and steeled himself against what was coming. Tina looked like she was out for blood.
“Tina, I-”
The blonde’s fist collided with his cheek a moment later, instantly silencing him. Kevin’s head whipped to the side with the force of the blow, a copper tang filling his mouth. For a moment, no one in the area said a word. The officers kept a firm grip on Kevin as he looked to Tina with surprise, his tongue pressed to the inside of the injured cheek and tasted blood.
“You just hit me” He said in disbelief before looking to the officers, “She just hit me!”
“She did?” One of the officers looked genuinely confused as he looked around Kevin to his partner, “Did you see anything, Coop?”
“Not a thing”
A small smug smile tugged at Tina’s lips as the officers pulled a now resisting Kevin around the blonde, removing him from the terminal entirely.
“You’re seriously not gonna do anything?! She hit me!”
Tina turned to face Bette and was met with a look of pride that had her soaring. The adrenaline had started to fade as she made her way over, her fist now throbbing from the impact.
“Fuck, he has a hard face” Tina rubbed her sore knuckles.
Bette laughed as she took the injured hand between both of her own and placed soft kisses on each of the reddened knuckles.
“My little boxer”
“And don’t you forget it” Tina playfully shook a non-threatening fist at her girlfriend, earning another laugh from the brunette.
“You punch one guy and suddenly you can take on the world”
Tina beamed at her girlfriend, her smile faltering when she saw the pout forming on Bette’s face.
“What’s wrong?”
“I wanted to hit him”

Way to go Tina! Glad it was a good punch, enough to knock out a filling. Bette was an ass towards Tina. Yes Tina should have told her but could she wait until a less stressful time. Thanks to both Melissa and Kevin’s mom. Can’t wait to see what happens between Jan and Melissa inthe next episode . Good chapter.

Yeah, Bette was completely jerk in this part, but i’m glad that they found Angel and made up.

I was putting together a bookcase when I randomly decided to see if you posted and boy was I happy you did. I put off my little project until I finished reading. So glad that Bette and Tina got past the hiccup in the beginning. Even happier that they got their baby girl back. To finally hear Bette claim Angie as her daughter was so sweet, then she called her momma. Wow! Hope the last chapter gives them the happy ending they deserve. I love your stories. Thank you for the update!
Bette said her criticle, extremely vicious words to Tina out of fear & pain, but she still said ’em!!! Tina needs to tell Bette how HER wrds impacted her!!
Wasn’t it Tina who wanted to call home several times during the course of the evening because she felt something was “wrong” but Bette told her to chill?

If it were me, after having my baby kidnapped and almost losing my gf, I wouldn’t focus on “who said what”. I’d just be grateful to have them in my arms again. Hurt people hurt people, but that doesn’t make it right. So they immediately apologized to each other once they reunited with baby Angie. Tina knows her partner well enough to know she didn’t truly mean it. And once again, Bette apologized. For a woman who’s known to be wrapped up in herself and typically oblivious to what’s around her— that’s progress. Heck even Tina is a little passive-aggressive. I’m proud they worked through it in their own way. ✨
Bette was too hard to Tina, but i glad they made up.
And bye-bye Kevin, we don’t miss you!
Whew….so glad they got Angie back from the bastard Kevin! Way to Melissa and Kevin’s Mom for stopping CRAZY from prevailing! Bette was scared and worried about Angie, BUT saying those things to Tina….It’s your FAULT were FOUL. And Tina lying to Bette and not telling her about Kevin’s drunken intention the night of your BDay dinner was FOUL too. So glad they made up and apologized and ANGIE CALLED BETTE, MAMA!
Bye-Bye Kevin, Tina got a good punch in on that jerk…I wished it would have been Bette! Hate to see this story end. Thanks for the update.

Great chapter as always. Loved your story I know yiu have one more but thank you it was very well written and full of love.. glad it all worked out and glad kevins mom is not a bad person like him.
Thank god that that Angie is back in her mothers arms!
Kevin’s mother has a good heart and seems to accept that Angie has two mothers, that is why she called the police, thanks to her and Melissa Angie was soon back.
In fear and stress situations people, Bette, say things they don’t mean and i am so happy that Tina and her made up immediately at the airport.
Glad that there will be one more chapter!
