“Safe to say that was me?” Bette asked.

    “Safe to say…”

“Must have been sub-par if you decided a man was the next logical step,” Bette said.

“Don’t be ridiculous Bette,” Tina said. She knew Bette was fishing. “The only time you and I seemed to connect was when we were making love. It was afterwards that you would shut down and not talk to me.”

“Remind me where we were,” Bette suggested.

    “You don’t remember?”

“Yes I do, I just want to hear you remember,” Bette replied.

“I don’t know if it’s such a hot idea for us to reminisce about making love with each other,” Tina commented.

“I happen to think it’s a very hot idea,” Bette’s use of the word was decidedly altered from Tina’s intention.

“You’re in a mischievous mood,” Tina noted correctly. “And you always seems to want what you can’t have.”

“I’ll start,” Bette said. “I had taken Angie to Alice’s so you and I could have some alone time.”

“Then you actually cooked dinner for me,” Tina continued, attempting to keep the conversation on an innocuous course.

“Correction,” Bette started. “I tried to cook dinner for you.”

“Right,” Tina said somewhat sheepishly. “I remember.”

“You were pouring yourself a glass of water when I moved behind you and put my arms around your waist.”

“Do you think you could wait on dinner?” Bette whispered.

“What did you have in mind?” Tina replied, already perfectly aware of what the answer would be.

Bette unfastened the button on Tina’s slacks and slipped her right hand down until she elicited a gasp.

“We could start here,” Bette continued to whisper as she stroked gently over Tina’s aroused flesh. “And we could finish anywhere you’d like.”

Tina slowly rode Bette’s hand while leaning with both arms against the counter top. Without warning she removed Bette’s hand while turning around.

“I want to face you,” Tina said as she reached up around Bette’s neck with her arms.

She leaned in and kissed the corner of Bette’s mouth. She avoided Bette’s efforts to kiss deeply, instead kissing her almost innocently. Repeated kisses of greeting normally reserved for a public place.

But then Tina ran her hand up Bette’s thigh and between her legs. And it was anything but innocent.

    1. Keep going TD. I love this assertive Tina. She’s kind of throwing Bette off her track. Good for Tina! Bette loves an aggressive Tina especially in bed. PPS.

    2. Jeeze…can Bette be an ass! She hasn’t learned yet? That phone call was no way to get what you want or need, Bette. I knnda hope that you don’t follow the story line exactly…

    3. Hello jks, I love how you are weaving the actual events into your story, it gives you an emotional catalyst to push these characters. Your ability to show that these two woman are on the same wavelength when it comes to each other is just more evident with them both sharing that some intimate memory. I love that Tina is being so forceful with her desire to move on, she isn’t backing down to Bette in anyway and while I think that the idea of her sleeping with the good doctor on the first date was a little “off” for the Tina that we have known I think it just goes to show you how much she really would like to move on with her life. I think Bette needs to seriously end things with Jodi if she really wants to have a shot at getting Tina back, she should leave her and let Tina have her space, she could use this time to see exactly where she does stand with Tina, and see how things develop when they go on their excursion with Angelica, but I think that Bette needs to leave Jodi even if just to gain her backbone to actually fight and win Tina back, but I want them to work for each other, I don’t want to see Bette being the only one that is fighting, Tina needs to do her fair share if it is going to work out for the better, the need to meet each other on equal grounds leaving their (past) relationship in the (past) and moving forward with a new more balanced love and life. I love how you are showing the evolution of both these characters, your ability to layer their emotions showing the hidden depths of their bond, their love is such a rich experience. Absolutely brilliant, Sincerely, JC

    4. I do like the intermingaling of the show and story. Yet, I couldn’t help wondering what they both did when they hung up their respective bedside phones……

    5. i like this, i want more please. i dont think bette is very sure now what may happen. that kick in the ass may be just what she needs. thx. and yes well all be watching tonight at our house, b&tf, bluesf myself and a couple of new comers. its better than last year…. so far. thx

    6. nice chapter… I love this version of Tina both here and in the show. And I like how you and where you are going with the story. I think however Bette needs a kick in the ass as how she has the brass to ask some of the questions she is asking Tina I will never know. As if it was Tina that was asking her the questions I am sure Bette would have not liked it. So I like how Tina is giving as good as she gets. And lacing it with some excellent comments. Please post soon

    7. Since you’re weaving: Time for Bette to kick Jodie’s behind back to Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel…and preferably in the lake! Marvelous, swim! :)

    8. JKS, I love what you’ve done with this story. I love your dialogue between these two. It’s like they’re circling each other. Great story…I hope you update again soon. I read all 4 chapters today and I am soooo hooked!

    9. As we all know Tina did get into the night time dance with the good doctor. I only wish that the night time dance was done with Bette and not Brenda.

    10. I really like this and love that Bette’s green-eyed monster is showing a little bit. But her arrogance in asking those questions of Tina was just a little too much for me. I thought she was way out of line but Tina gave back to her with her comments, which was great for Tina. PPS

    11. I really love the way you’re writing their conversations. I love how assertive and aggressive Tina is in this story. Can’t wait to read more. PPS

    12. Oooh, burn! Tina 1, Bette 0. Bette was fishing, and I reckon she got more than she bargained for. She’ll have to play her cards right. Tina’s made it clear she’s not going to be bowled over by history, nor is she going to be waiting around. Great chapter, jks. Please keep posting as and when you can. Thanks

    13. You know that old saying, somethings are better off left unsaid. Bette should not have engaged Tina about her potential first date. But I loved the little flashback for some B&T engagement.

    14. Wooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Great storyyyyy! ‘ im loving it’ *doing a little happy dance!* I agree, an assertive Tina is really really great! I love the way she tackles Bette’s questions and make her think abt what she is saying… And I sure love the honesty! justkeeppostingpostingposting ;)
