    That afternoon

    4:00 p.m.

Bette frowned and walked over to her cd-player. She opened the desk drawer and retrieved her ‘Waiting to Exhale’ cd. She took the disk out and slipped it in to the cd player. She grabbed the remote and got in to bed. She took a pillow and placed it against the headboard. She sat back resting her back against the comfort of the pillow. She pressed play and played the disk. She turned it to the fifth song. Brandy’s ‘Sitting up in my room’

Brandy: Seems like every since the first day we met

There is no one else I think of more than you

Can’t seem to forget, can’t get you out my head

Guess the verdict’s in, I’m crazy over you

How can one be down, tell me where to start

Cause everytime you smile, I feel tremors in my heart

I have but one concern, how can I get wit you

Til my day comes, here’s what I’m gonna do

Bette: “Be sitting up in my room…back here thinking bout you…I must confess, I’m a mess for you…Be sitting up in my room…back here thinking bout you…I must confess, I’m a mess for you”

Brandy: Pray that you’ll invest in my happiness

All it takes is just one simple call from you

Turn my heart around, if I’m making ground

Pretty baby please, tell me if I’m getting through

                   Tell me what is up

You see I need to know

Tell me if I’m far or, if I’m getting close

I have but one concern, and that one concern is you

Til I’m wit you, here’s what I’m gonna do

Bette: “Be sitting up in my room…back here thinking bout you…I must confess, I’m a mess for you…Be sitting up in my room…back here thinking bout you…I must confess, I’m a mess for you”

    Knock! Knock!

Bette: (Turns the music down) “Go away…” She turns it back up full blast.

Kit: “Bette! Open the door, please. I really need to talk to you.” She continues to knock on the door. Bette becomes annoyed and tosses the romote to the side. She then gets out of bed and walks over to the door. She unlocks it and swings it open. Kit walks in slowly and closes the door behind herself. “Thank you.”

    1. Way to go Bette. You go and get your woman. I hope that Tina realizes how much that Bette cares for her. Bette has been so sheltered that she needs for Tina to step in and help her out instead of running. Now, unblock those words from your brain and place them on the paper.

    2. You did not just stop it there. Don’t give us you ran out of things to write. Come on, get those fingers moving,(on the keyboard), and get back to us with another chapter.

    3. Ran out of things to write, my butt! LOL So Bette was blasting Brandy? If I wanted to blast music it would be something fast and loud, not Brandy. lol

    4. Lamentamini-you are so crazy girl…lol. And for your information I did run out of something to write. I swear. I’m trying to think of how will I bring Tina in here. I’m still deciding, but I won’t disappoint you if that’s what you’re thinking. No way. Thanks for your comment.

    5. LMAO! Great CFTW! that took a lot of guts for Bette to do, ring the bell… Tina has to stop running away from her problems but hey, at least this ‘problem’is following her around LMAO
