“Who will raise me now?” chpt.6

Bette: “You’re not welcomed.” She climbed in bed and began fondling her teddy bear her father bought for her. She missed him a lot. Since being away from Boston-she hadn’t had the chance to mourn yet. She’s been busy with trying to erase him mentally by playing outside and picking up extra activites around the house.

Kit: “Please don’t be mad baby sis. I was just trying to help.” She walked over and sat down next to her sister.

Bette: “Did it ever occur to you that I was doing just fine?” She looked away in disgust. She felt uncomfortable with Kit being there.

Kit: “I’m sorry, okay, but you’re not making this any better Bette. Look, if I had known that you were listening I would of asked her at another time. I thought you were in your room.”

Bette: “But I wasn’t okay…” She jumped out of bed and ran over to the window. She looked outside and she wished her father was there. She missed him dearly. She’d give anything for god to bring him back. He was the only person that had been honest to her and had never lied to her. She felt hurt and betrayed. She just wanted to be left alone and Kit was making it worse. “I miss daddy…” Tears weld in her eyes. She wiped her eyes and fondled the curtain. “I wish he were here.” Kit bowed her head and shook it. She felt horrible inside. She would give anything to take back that encounter between she and Tina. She wished she’d never opened her big mouth.

Kit: “Look, I’m sorry. If I had known now, what I had known before, then I wouldn’t have said anything. I didn’t know that you and Tina were that serious. I had never imagined that your relationship reached that level. I feel bad about everything. I’m at fault for this, but you have to know and understand, that I’m raising you now, and anything, and everything that you do involves me too. And I don’t want you to get hurt…” She rose from the bed with her hand over her chest. “I would die if anyone hurt you or I lost you in anyway baby sis. I love you Bette. I love you so much. Would you have rathered known or not known?” Bette looks at Kit.

    1. Way to go Bette. You go and get your woman. I hope that Tina realizes how much that Bette cares for her. Bette has been so sheltered that she needs for Tina to step in and help her out instead of running. Now, unblock those words from your brain and place them on the paper.

    2. You did not just stop it there. Don’t give us you ran out of things to write. Come on, get those fingers moving,(on the keyboard), and get back to us with another chapter.

    3. Ran out of things to write, my butt! LOL So Bette was blasting Brandy? If I wanted to blast music it would be something fast and loud, not Brandy. lol

    4. Lamentamini-you are so crazy girl…lol. And for your information I did run out of something to write. I swear. I’m trying to think of how will I bring Tina in here. I’m still deciding, but I won’t disappoint you if that’s what you’re thinking. No way. Thanks for your comment.

    5. LMAO! Great CFTW! that took a lot of guts for Bette to do, ring the bell… Tina has to stop running away from her problems but hey, at least this ‘problem’is following her around LMAO
