“Yes I don’t see any issues with you kissing your fiancée it’s not contagious or anything so he won’t catch any infection”
“I’m glad to hear that” Carmen said leaning down and kissing Jess softly on the lips
Patrick laughed “Imy this is Jess’s fiancée Carmen”
“Sorry maam I didn’t know I apologise”
Callie walked into the room
“Hey trouble, so I got this page to come check on you what’s occurring now?” Callie smiled
“Vocal Nodules” Bette smiled “She’s not allowed to speak for 7 days”
“Oh Jez that must be killing you” Callie smiled lifting Jess’s chart “Wow erm okay”
“What?” Carmen asked
“Jess have you been taking your medication?”
Jess nodded yes.
“Okay can we get some bloods done” Callie instructed
“What’s the problem?” Bette asked
“Nothing to worry about at the minute” Callie smiled “How’s her diet been?”
“Not the best she’s just back from tour” Carmen said
“You’re extremely underweight at the minute Jess and with you being epileptic that’s not good enough” Callie scolded
Jess rolled her eyes.
“In her defence she hasn’t been able to swallow anything for a week” Carmen stated
“That’s no excuse, I don’t know how much she’s lost but just by looking at her I’m not impressed” Callie took the blood and as a result Jess spewed everywhere.
Patrick shook his head giving Jess a drink of water.
“You in pain?”
Jess nodded yes.
“Okay let’s get you some pain relief, one the anaesthesia has worn off we can think about getting you home” Patrick stated
“If I say so” Callie corrected “Can I have her transferred down to my ward please”
Jess rubbed her eyes typing a message on her phone and showing it to Callie
It’s a good job I’m not allowed to talk at the minute.
“I’m loving the silence” Callie smirked “See you downstairs.”
An hour later…
“Ok can you stand up Jess please” Callie asked
Jess did as she was asked
“And just step on here” Callie instructed
Again Jess did as she was asked
“Yep…since I last seen you three months ago you have lost 35 pounds that’s a lot for your frame Jess, I know your tall but you’re at least 60 pounds underweight and that’s having an impact on your epilepsy.”

Wow 60lbs underweight? Jess needs to take better care of herself. Lisa was funny but a lesson was learned. Thanks for posting.
OK ,maybe good news is coming JESS’ way now that the surgery is over.Crossover with CALLIE TORRES did not see that coming,but love it.Hope the baby doesn’t make a surprise appearance.thanks
