You Can Always Remember What You Can Never Forget (Chap26)

    Previously

Tina thought for a second. She knew she wanted to move on with her life with Bette, so she nodded and they went to the master bedroom together. They both changed and got in bed. Bioth leaned in a gave a quick peck good night kiss.

Tomorrow was another day, full of even more intense issues. Bette just hoped Tina would be this friendly tomorrow night!

    Chapter 26

Both women had a restless night sleep. Both tossing and turning a lot. Bette woke up and the sun was not even up yet. She headed out on the deck to sit and enjoy the start of this new day. Tina woke up a short time later and felt anxious when she saw that Bette was no longer in bed. She wondered if she had moved out of the bed in the middle of the night. Tina did her best to keep her hands to herself in the night, but what if she had crossed the line. Tina got up and immediately saw Bette sitting on the deck outside the master bedroom. She looked so beautuful with the twilight on her face. She put on her robe and headed out onto the deck.

"Hey" Tina whisper- she didn’t want to startle Bette

    "Hey T- how are you?"

"Not great- it wasn’t the most peaceful of sleeps."

"Yea I would agree with that. I guess we should go make some coffee and get ready to face the day uh?"

"Well would you mind if I sat with you and watch the this beautiful sunrise first."

Bette hesitated for a tiny bit- she knew she was being ridiculous with this whole hands to themselves thing. so she gave in- she opened the blanket and invited Tina to sit in the chair with her. Now it was Tina’s turn to hesitate. She had decided that she would take whatever Bette gave her. So she slipped onto the lounge chair with Bette and allowed her to wrap the blanket around both of them. She leaned back into Bette.

"God it is just so peaceful out here." Tina said again only whispering.

Bette couldn’t take her eyes off Tina, even though there was a beautiful sunrise in front of her, Tina was more beautiful to her. Tina could feel Bette’s eyes on her and she felt so at peace. she felt like they could get through anything. She just hoped that she would start remembering things and putting the pieces together.

    1. As difficult as the situation is now maybe in the long run it’s a good thing. It’s up to them to take the chance to clear the air and discuss the relationship from a new point of view. PPS.

    2. i’m glad you brought up the situation with another baby, and i’m glad B&T are taking it slow and trying to make tina remember everything

    3. Such a wonderful story. Love how hard both are fighting to get their life back on track. I do hope that if a child is produced that Bette does carry him/her.

    4. Tina comforting Bette that’s a good thing. It’s good for them to talk everything out even the hard stuff as long as they don’t let anger get in the way when Tina finds out some of the bad things they have had to work through. If Tina doesn’t get her memory back they will just have to start over again and take it from there. It will probably be hard on Bette remembering what they had but at least she will still have Tina. PPS

    5. That was so touching. This weekend away was a great idea. They’re really connecting on a deeper level. I think even if Tina didn’t get her memory back their relationship would survive because they truly love each other.

    6. Very emotional right now but necessary. Just keep them talking and Tina slowly remembering. I still want to know why she was in the car with the fellow co-worker and where they were going and why. I feel that might trigger her memory faster than anything else. Thanks for posting.
