You Can Always Remember What You Can Never Forget (Chap26)

"Feels weird to not have to get up and take care of Angie." Tina thought out loud.

"Yes it does. This is important for us though. I hope that once you do get your memory completely back we can take more trips like this one."

"Yes I would really like that."

Bette tighten her grip around Tina. It was amazing how well they fit together and how amazing it felt to be in each others arms.

"So I guess this hands to ourselves thing didn’t work out so well." Tina said shifting her body so she could see Bette’s eyes.

"No it didn’t. I’m sorry about that- I don’t really know what my thinking was. I just wanted you to be sure about us before we did anything physical. I thought I had you back a few days ago and lost that connection again, so I guess I was trying to protect myself."

"I know Bette and I can understand that. I just think that we have a lot going through our minds and having to work so hard to not touch each other is something we shouldn’t be focusing on."

"I agree with you. I think we should just do whatever feels natural."

"Even if it feels natural to kiss you right now?"

"Yes." Bette smiled at Tina and looked down to her wet lips. She licked her own lips and watched Tina stare at them. Both women would swear an hour went by as they stared at each other. Both daring the other one to make the first move. Bette was trying so hard to let Tina take the lead, but she finally gave in. She leaned in ever so slightly and Tina was quick to follow. There lips touched so softly. They both began to kiss each other’s lips soft and sweetly, with no rushing in mind. Tina turned her body more so she could deepen the kiss more.

Tina was the first one to pull back. She rested her head on Bette’s.

"Bette I know I don’t remember everything about us, or our relationship, I don’t remember what you wore on our first date or the first time you said you love me, but my God when I kiss you I can feel so much love."

    1. As difficult as the situation is now maybe in the long run it’s a good thing. It’s up to them to take the chance to clear the air and discuss the relationship from a new point of view. PPS.

    2. i’m glad you brought up the situation with another baby, and i’m glad B&T are taking it slow and trying to make tina remember everything

    3. Such a wonderful story. Love how hard both are fighting to get their life back on track. I do hope that if a child is produced that Bette does carry him/her.

    4. Tina comforting Bette that’s a good thing. It’s good for them to talk everything out even the hard stuff as long as they don’t let anger get in the way when Tina finds out some of the bad things they have had to work through. If Tina doesn’t get her memory back they will just have to start over again and take it from there. It will probably be hard on Bette remembering what they had but at least she will still have Tina. PPS

    5. That was so touching. This weekend away was a great idea. They’re really connecting on a deeper level. I think even if Tina didn’t get her memory back their relationship would survive because they truly love each other.

    6. Very emotional right now but necessary. Just keep them talking and Tina slowly remembering. I still want to know why she was in the car with the fellow co-worker and where they were going and why. I feel that might trigger her memory faster than anything else. Thanks for posting.
