Tina smiled “ And have I been rewarded by having a child who is a mini B “
“Ang ?”
“Yes – she is getting more like you every day “
Bette looked with amusement at Tina
“You keep saying that “
“I say it because its true – you and Angie are getting more alike – I am not sure if it is the scariest thing ever or very sweet “
“Why would it be scary ?”
“Because my beloved – everyone says that I am some miracle worker for being able to deal with you and now we have a miniature version – someone who has your mannerisms and just pulled a perfect Porter face – that is why its scary “
“Does it worry you ?”
Tina sighed “To have two versions of the woman I love so totally and utterly – what the hell do you think ? “
“You really don’t mind that she is more like me than you ?”
“She is getting more like you by the minute “ Tina pointed out
“The thing is “ Bette said looking at Tina “ I see you when I look at her – I don’t see myself. I see how kind she is – and how thoughtful and polite – that’s you. I know that she doesn’t have your hair or eyes or colour but she is your daughter – please tell me that it doesn’t bother you “
“I was once in a restaurant with her and Henry and someone thought that we had adopted her. That hurt – that was a knife in my heart – I have the scar from her being born. That was one of the things that I hated when I was mad at you – I blamed you . But in the recent times – well I know that she is my baby – she is never going to be anything other than my baby. But the fact is that she doesn’t look like my child – she is a fabulous child and I do love that she is like you. I get such a buzz from knowing that she is your child as much as she is mine. I think that it’s the perfect situation that she is my baby but she looks like her other mom -that means we all share a very special bond “

AllyE, That was so sweet and tender. Bette and Phyllis were upfront about the situation and have sorted things out. jane could be a problem but I feel that Bette and Phyllis united will be a difficult team to defeat. Then Helena with Tina and Ang was a roit. Just lovely to share these moments. So precious and sweet. Good to have Ang giggling at her silly Aunt H. The Bette arrival showed how far Bette and Helena have moved on. They respect and admire each other. COmpletely accepting their places in t Tina’s and Angies’s lives. Then the quiet time for Bette and Tina to share some of their daily thoughts and magical moments. Mini-B is just so true. Love that the gals see the best of each other in Angie.
