“James – what’s happened ?”
“Tina – thank God – I have been trying all of Bette’s friends “
“Shane’s at work here and Alice’s phone isn’t working at the moment – what’s up “
“Look – I am taking my life in my hands here at the moment “
Tina had never heard him sound so worried – and working for Bette for so long would have to give him a hide like a Rhino.
“James – whatever it is – I won’t let Bette kill you – just tell me “
“Jodie went for Bette “
“WHAT ! “
“Jodie missed a lecture and Bette went to her studio. All I know is that she came back 45 minutes later and she was a mess “
“Is she hurt ?”
“Black eye and she was really shaken up. I have seen her in some states before Tina- like when you guys broke up and when her dad was dying but – Tina – it’s the only time I have wanted to hug her because she was so freaked “
“Where the hell is she ?”
“That’s the thing – she was going home – I watched her get into a cab – she was shaking too much to take her own car – she’s a mess Tina and I’ve tried ringing her at home and she’s not there “
“Where’s Jodie and where’s Phyllis – does Phyllis know ?”
“Yes – I told Phyllis – Bette told me not to but I have never seen her so upset -Tina – I know you are at work but – well – do you think I should go to the house and make sure she’s alright ?”
Tina took a couple of breaths
“No – I’ll go “
“You’re at the studio “
“James- its okay – I’m going to leave the studio now. If you hear anything let me know and I’ll do the same “
“Have I done right Tina ?”
“Yes James – it’s a complicated situation – thanks for telling me and persisting until one of us replied “

Happy to see this chapter AllyE, love the story. Also love alpha Tina, taking charge of her loved ones. Jodie needs to be roughed up by Kit and Tina, and Phyllis fire the heck out of Jodie. She’s just bitten off more than she can chew with assualting Bette. james would love to weigh in on this one and take care of her because he loves the three of them so much, Bette, Tina and the baby. He would go to the wall for them. PPS

I guess I’m not very original, but I love this story!
I am glad that James didn’t keep his mouth shut on this it was way to important that others know what Jodie did. It is so good that Tina took charge and got through to Bette. More than anything right now Bette needs Tina and Angie’s love and the stability they bring. A part of me kinda hopes that Tina and/or Kit get a piece of Jodie, I really don’t think she know who she messed with. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
That was awesome and glad Tina is there to take care of Bette. jodi better get lost or Tina and the gang gonna kick her ass and then feed her to alligator, what a crazy bitch. Please post more, thanks!
this is a cute story, drama drama drama, but Bette and Tina versus the world is fine by me!!! I’m really glad you wrote this, not a fan of 5 x 11 at all, this Tibette cuteness totally makes up for it though!!

This really should be a matter for the police-they call it assault and battery. If Jodi is such a loose cannon, she really shouldn’t be allowed near students let alone the general public. And we always thought it was Jenny that was the nutty one. But you know, Tina can’t blame her hangover on the brownies.
The police should be call. Lets leave Shane out of this, rather have Tina or Kit do it. Maybe she could hear after a few blows to her stupid head. As the Dean Bette had every right to unlock anydoor in her Deptment. Jodie being so stupid as to try to bribe a student, with sex or other wise. Jodie was slowly brainwashing Bette,Tell her to watch her back and to stand up to the board member for her. Bette could have lost her job,and never be able to teach again. thanks
I am glad that Tina’s text made Bette see sense and went to Tina’s place.I know its not cool to use violence but can Jodie get roughed up by Shane.

This story is certainly different. But I’m liking it. I like the way Tina is taking charge..and being a calming presence. I like the family time too.

Hey AllyE, What a great twist to this break-up. I agree that Jodi would turn feral at Bette leaving her. Brilliant if heart-breaking. What is truly wonderful is Tina’s response.
