Alice could swear she never saw such intensity and at the same time sweetness in somebody’s eyes, she was instantly drawn to Agent Fairbanks. The blonde noticed her the minute that Dana entered Peggy’s office, and how could she not since she was drop dead gorgeous, but right that moment it was something different, not just physical attraction.
“Ok do you have any more questions?” Bette spoke breaking the moment those two were sharing.
A few seconds of complete silence went by and once again Tina found herself compelled to stare into those deep brown pools that Agent Porter had for eyes and much to her surprise the brunette was staring right back at her. Tina felt as she was blushing again and felt even more embarrassed, but still her eyes wouldn’t leave those of the agent sitting right in front of her. At that moment she could have sworn she saw a small smile trying to break free at the corner of the brunette’s lips, but as soon as it appeared it seemed to have vanished.
Did she actually smile at my blushing? What does that mean? But most importantly why do I even care? Tina immediately thought to herself trying to gain some of the self-composure she lost the minute she saw Bette Porter.
“I don’t think we do, at least not for now” Peggy broke the silence.
“Ok, then I guess we should get to work” Bette said immediately getting up.
“Yes you are right Agent Porter, thank you very much for everything” Peggy said once again extending her hand to the brunette.
“Please call me Bette Ms. Peabody, we’re gonna be seeing a lot of one another so I think we should leave the formalities aside” Bette said taking the hand that was offered to her and mildly smiling but with a tenderness and kindness in her eyes that her face not usually reflected.
“Then it’s only fair that you call me Peggy”
“I shall do then… Peggy” Bette said as the handshake was over.
The rest of the girls got up as the other two agents also shook Peggy’s hand before she disappeared through the glass doors.
“Ok how do we do this? You follow us to our offices… or what?” Helena asked a bit nervous and Shane warmly smiled at her.

And the plot thickens tremendously can’t wait for more. Bette seems to care about Tina’s welfare more so than is needed so the connection is there.

Great premise and great story. They probably need to check the entire precinct and also check the janitorial staff, if it is an outside agency or in house. Someone has been paid royally to bug their offices and possibly homes. The team will find it all and protect them all the way. For once, I hope Alice keeps her damned mouth shut. Thanks for sharing the story.
