    Thanksgiving in New York

    Bette, Tina and Angie joined Peggy, Winnie and the kids in New York City for the Thanksgiving holiday. They ate Thanksgiving dinner at Peggy’s Manhattan penthouse; they enjoyed the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and took advantage of Black Friday to get some early Christmas shopping done.

    Angie stayed with Peggy, Winnie and the kids at the Peabody home while Bette and Tina spent the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving at one of New York City’s most exclusive hotels to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. The suite was located on the 40th floor of the 54-story building overlooking Central Park.

    For two days they lived in the lap of luxury and took full advantage of the in-room services offered by the hotel. A personal chef prepared and served a romantic gourmet dinner for two on Friday night. On Saturday they arranged for Thai Yoga Massage treatments in the privacy of their suite. Bette and Tina luxuriated in scented baths in the marble soaking tub. The expansive views of the Manhattan skyline from the master bedroom served as the backdrop for their nights of marathon lovemaking.

    They used the personal shopping service. The Concierge suggested several options for dinner and dancing on Saturday night. On Sunday they joined Peggy, Winnie and the kids for brunch then they all attended a matinee performance of the Lion King on Broadway. Peggy, Bette, Tina and Angie flew home to Los Angeles on the Peabody corporate jet on Monday morning.

    For the next couple of weeks, they all stayed busy with work. In mid-December they shut everything down and prepared for the Christmas holiday season and Bette’s 44th birthday.

    It happened that Tina was ovulating the week of Bette’s birthday so they postponed her birthday getaway so they could be home for the insemination. This would be the fourth try to get Tina pregnant. They decided if it didn’t work this time, they would do the next one in Dr. Wilson’s office under her care. They were getting a bit discouraged but still very hopeful. Unlike last time when they drifted apart with each negative result this time, they were closer than ever. They helped each other to stay positive and took Emma’s advice to keep talking and to share their feelings.

    1. Very nice holidays….nice trip for Bette and Tina in celebration of Bette’s birthday. Things are really going well for this family. Love how Angie and Peggy are so into each other. I am amazed that Peggy has taken on her role as grandmother as much as she has. Of course she has a full staff to assist with the mundane duties of cooking and cleaning which comes from a house full of people.

      I presume that Sampson is a Pomeranian pup? I had a neighbor who had a red (orange) one. His name was Copper. I loved his cut little fox like face. Black eyes and black nose and wild fluffy orange fur. I always left my back door open for the cat to come in and out. So Copper would come visit us frequently. Sweet friendly little dog.

      So Tina was tired on Christmas Eve? Could she possibly be pregnant? I assume we will see in the near future.
