Chapter 20 – Bringing Angie Home

Tina woke up about 6:00 am. She began to wiggle around in the bed on purpose this time to wake Bette up. She hurried to the bathroom to pee and then quickly dressed in a swim suit and jogging outfit for a morning swim.

Tina: Okay Bette, do you want to swim before breakfast or after. We have a big breakfast to fix – we have ten hungry mouths that want breakfast. So, we have to get moving.

Bette:  Geez, Tina. Tell them to go out for breakfast. Charge it to me.

Tina:  Sorry Babe. That’s not the way it works in this house. You invite them to spend the night, then you must provide them with a big breakfast. If you do not want to participate, then I’ll get Mary and Margaret to help me. But we will feed James and Lisa and the kids a good breakfast.

Bette: Okay… Okay.  Such a meany. I coming.

Tina: A meany?

Bette:  A meany… one which I adore and cannot live without. A meany who makes me laugh and makes me so very happy. Where is my good morning kiss?

Tina wandered over to the naked woman at the side of the bed. And kissed her and helped her to a standing position.

Tina: Go get dressed. Put on your swimsuit under your clothes and I’ll make the bed.

Bette: I need some coffee. Is the sun up yet?

Tina: No, the sun is not up yet, but it will be in 30 minutes or so. What do you think of an egg casserole and maybe a couple of pancakes and some bacon?  I think we have enough fruit salad to serve some of that for breakfast too.

Bette: Sounds good. Best go light on the vegetables for the kids. Cheese and eggs should be sufficient. And if there isn’t enough mixed fruit, we can add some more. Berries and bananas would be good.

Bette went to the bathroom and then dressed in a swimsuit with a jogging suit. She came and sat in a chair to put on her shoes and made a big yawn.

Bette: Do we get a reasonable nap today?
