Ashley tried to make sense of the patterns on her ceiling as the lights from her window made swirls and ribbons, dancing lightly and changing with a poetic fluidity. Hands behind her head as she stared, her eyes followed the snakelike charm of the threads of light as they moved across the barren white surface. Her eyes glazed over, mind flying back to the events of last night. Try as she might, she couldn’t stop thinking about what had happened. Nor could she stop the tightening in her groin as she thought about it.
Spencer’s mouth hot on her collarbone while her hands skimmed up Ashley’s sides, spreading warmth and tingling everywhere they went. Ashley’s hands, buried in blonde tresses while her lips skimmed across delicately shelled ear, finding that sensitive spot behind it and blowing gently. Reveling in the sigh that escaped against her neck. Clothes shedding slowly and skin coming into delicious contact with skin.
Rolling over she sniffed the pillow next to her, losing herself in the scent of Spencer. She could see the glowing outline of the girl as she slept next to her. She might not have been there now, but Ashley could picture the image so tightly that it was like a force that would not leave. No matter what happened, for the rest of her life, Ashley knew she would be able to conjure that image and that feeling.
Spencer whispering, noises that made no sense but with a pleading intensity that Ashley knew exactly what she wanted. Naked bodies against each other and the sliding of Ashley’s thigh in between those soft, beautiful legs she’s spent so long kissing her way up. The incredible feeling of wetness on her thigh as she ground down and the sound of the groan that came with it, echoing in her ears.
Hugging the pillow to her breast Ashley grinned, eyes squeezing shut at the thoughts that were ricocheting in her brain. For once the mocking voice in her head was silent, overwhelmed by the intense memories of the night before.
The feel of Spencer’s wetness as Ashley dipped her fingers down. The deep blue eyes with pupils that enlarged just ever so slightly as those fingers found the hard nub of nerves and made sexy hips dance. Spencer’s gasp as the fingers moved over the spot, again and again, while Ashley watched the reaction. Ashley biting her lip, teeth making an impression on her bottom curved bow while she slid her fingers down, knowing that she has nothing stopping her this time. Waiting for Spencer to open her eyes again, to look deep into brown orbs holding her gaze so carefully. Waiting to watch while Ashley makes Spencer hers.

OUCH! Bannerman, maybe we should be asking “what are you feeding them?!” Too bad you’re obviously not our favorite pet [but that might change if you post some more :( ]. It’s a good thing you’re God.

I have to feel satisfied with a job well done. Not with the story but spreading the bannerman virus. Bannerman, I know you don’t smell, it’s just that your screen name has exactly the same cadence and well… it got stuck :). At least I have people all over the world singing your name.

That is an amazing show. Anyway this story rocks. I love the flashbacks. You definitely pulled it off. Post more soon as it has become a habit of mine to sit at the computer all day and wait for your next update. You keep me glued to my chair clomle.
If you must know what ‘they’ (read: I) have bee feeding me, then I will tell you – the food of my ancestors… pasta. Love it, espesh as it’s a family recipe, passed down through generations… that’s bollocks, but never mind – it was a good meal. And yes, I love making people all over the world sing my name ;-) lol. Anyways, I shall write more when my muse returns – she’s buggered off for a few days, and ironically isn’t called Ashley or Spencer… wish she was called Mandy Musgrave though! Look fwd to reading more soon Clom!

I’m trying to make a legible sentence but..*deep breath* You had me laughing so hard: ‘Polar bears, Ice cubes, wet…’ LMAO. But now I blame you for my inability to speak. I think its my turn to go buy a BUCKETT of ICE! And here my family is coming over in less than 30 minutes and I’m totally out of it now thanks to Y-O-U! ;-) Ok so my NEXT bribe involves a Pixie stick and Jell-o! Theres always room for Jell-o! :-) :-P

Best post yet. Your choice of flashbacks to denote the present was great. Ashley is in love, and you express this so wonderfully…now I feel in love, giddy, nervous, shy, and even though I have no ‘object of my affection,’I love it. :)

Ace, as usual! I like the flashback instead of blow by blow account of what happened – ’tis a good break to what is otherwise a linear narrative! bravo! I thought the idea was that Spencer was staying over, though? :-P therefore why was she not in Ashley’s bed for a repeat performance in the morning? Also, I don’t really like being associated with a song about a smelly cat; 1) because I’m not a cat, 2) because I smell lovely, and 3) cos I can feed myself with my exceptionally good cooking :-P in fact, I am the designated chef in my house – my housemates would starve without me ;-) would I be cheeky in ordering you to write more AS.SOON.AS!?

Yesss, I’m finally caught up on this story. Killer job so far. This Spencer is so different from your previous versions, just so… distant (though clearly not when it comes to the physical). I’m joyous for Ash ’cause she finally gets to experience love, but I’m also nervous for her, being in love with someone clearly experiencing issues, but who won’t open up emotionally. So yeah, again writing’s awesome, and I don’t know Andie, but I second the brownie and whatever the hell else you may need to keep the heart happy and fingers typing;>)

As always, brilliant update! Love the choice of flashbacks. I thought it was sweet that Ashley didn’t want to cheapen the memories, too. But I’m nervous for the upcoming drama…And btw, that damn smelly cat song stuck in my head all…freaking…night!

You’re a horrible person, you know that? Making me read that at work. Try as I might to avoid it, I see a post and read it without thinking or checking the damn rating. Oops. You’re like freaking Pringles. Once you pop, you can’t stop. Or maybe that’s more Ashley’s problem. And what a wonderful problem it is. :) Loved it. Loved the flashbacks and the thoughts that surrounded them. Much more sincere than just going through the action. I adore it. More than Circles, which surprises me, because I thought that was the toppest of all notches…and am I a horrible person for not knowing the smelly cat song? I HATE Friends with the heat of a thousand suns and avoid everything connected to it. Though the thought of bannerman as a smelly cat (and bannerman’s subsequent response) did make me giggle. :D

Exceptionally well written smut? Check! Its funny, I showered before reading this and after I read it I suddenly felt the need to go back and take another cold one, the temperature in the room went up a couple degrees while I read this, that’s for sure. Brilliance! Can’t wait for the drama!
