Summary of the previous chapter: Tina tells Helena that their relationship is over. Alex finally reveals some of what she has been hiding: her guilt that Catherine died because she was running an errand that was supposed to have been run by Alex.. Dana continues Mission Eliminate Tonya by trying to convince her that she is happier being poor and giving up tennis. Bette and Tina dance to a song given to them by Alex.

After the song ended, Bette continued to hold Tina in her arms. Alex was right about the song. It does say how I feel. It has always been you, T, since the moment I first saw you. You are the only one who matters.

For me too, baby. Like the song said, no one can make me as happy or hurt me as deeply as you do. With you, feelings run so much deeper than with anyone Ive ever known.

They walked into the bedroom holding hands ready to reconnect in a physical way. Despite the lovers, or perhaps it would be better to say, sexual partners, they had been with since last with each other, none of them really mattered. They had been diversions, but none had been love. There is ***** and there is making love. Bette and Tina had both gone and had ***** with others, but making love was reserved only for the other. That was something they could not share with anyone else. The love making that was shared that night was a slow and tender reacquainting with their love and with each others bodies.

As Friday morning dawned in LA, Bette and Tina were wrapped in each others arms after spending much of the previous night making love. Bette had arranged the day off from work as it was her day to play a role in Mission Eliminate Tonya. The CAC was not happy that she had taken off 2 days from work during the week, but Bette really didnt care at that point.
