Irene “What’s to keep others from putting themselves on top of a large building in Metropolis?  Either to commit suicide or simply try to gain Superwoman’s attention?”

Lois “Well, Irene after the incident in question, Luthor pushed for his own company as well as others in Metropolis and other major cities to tighten security.  Since then, there have been no reports of anyone accessing a rooftop without permission.”

Irene “Vicki, let me get you into this conversation.”

Vicki “Yes…please.”

Irene “At the moment, Gotham City is being said to have found an influence from this Superwoman in the form of a group of vigilantes.  Is there any truth to that statement?”

Vicki “I don’t know if it’s a direct influence, seeing as Gotham City has been in dire need of help for some time now.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Superwoman or whatever her real name is, is doing wonders for Metropolis and Delaware tourism in general.  Meanwhile, the crime rate continues to be high here in Gotham and we’re still dealing with corruption.  We’re still dealing with after-effects of what are still believed to be politically motivated assassinations in previous decades,  most notably the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne.  We have a police force that too many citizens still have little trust or faith in.  We have someone known as the ‘Tigress’ running about, committing various crimes and not getting caught.  Just the idea that we can possibly have someone out there trying to protect us, I consider to be a good thing.”

Irene “There have been no official sightings, but the ones who have claimed to have seen these vigilantes in action mention…for the most part at least…appearing female in form, having masks, and also swooping in, beating up criminals and fugitives, and leaving them for the G.C.P.D. to find and arrest.”

Vicki “The current theory is that there is more than just one of them.  My own name for them is the Caped Crusaders.  They’ve been described as having capes, similar to Superwoman.  And whereas Superwoman’s greatest concern appears to be saving kittens from trees, we have these Caped Crusaders stopping actual cri-”

Lois “Oh, here we go with the Woe Is Us stuff we always get.  Look, I’m sure Gotham is a nice city and maybe it could use a Superwoman to help it out.  But please, spare us the sob story about-”
