    Nobis Pacem Chapter 4

I swallowed drily, “I want whatever you want to give me, Aerin.”

She leaned her forehead on mine and whispered as she dropped her eyes to look at my lips, “I want to make love to you.”

I suppressed the moan that rose to my lips in response.

“I want to make it so that you’ll never want anyone else.  When I finally make my touch known to every part of you, I want your body to never need anyone else’s. I want your body to only know my touch, my tongue, and the other parts of me from now on. I’ll make you mine, Harley, in a way your body will never forget,” she whispered fiercely, and then brushed her lips slowly over mine.

This time I moaned audibly, uncaring about who could hear me.

After a minute, Alice and Helena coughed simultaneously. And then Shane cleared her throat.

“That was hot,” Alice said as Aerin took a seat, still looking intensely at me. “Wasn’t that hot, Helena?”

Helena didn’t say anything but I could hear her drink water, the ice cubes in her glass clinking noisily.

I shook my head and broke our gaze, turning to look at Alice with a smile.

“That was barely a kiss, even. But that is the hottest thing I have seen around here in a long, long time. Right, Shane?” Alice exclaimed, sitting back, pretending to fan herself.

Shane was still looking at us, mouth slightly hanging open.

“What is wrong with you, fatty?!” Alice was slightly annoyed now that she seemed to be the only one who was saying anything about what they’d seen.

Shane slowly shook her head, and then fixed a serious gaze at Aerin. “I hope you’re not playin’ Aerin, because you will break this girl’s heart into a million pieces if you are.”

Even I could see Aerin was stung by that. So taken aback that she was speechless.

I leaped to her defense like a lawyer would.

“She’s not playing, Shane. And neither am I. We’re actually being quite careful and deliberate about all of this,” I said, summoning my court-room, board-room cool. “She’s not the one who’s tried to heat things up, and I admit I’m the one who tried to push for more last night, but she was steadfast.”
