    Nobis Pacem Chapter 1

“Or felt this insane electricity with, than you, Christina,” she continued.

    “Aerin –“

“We have been talking and sharing every day, and every weekend, for over two months, honey,” she added. “There’s nothing about me that you don’t know. And since you’re still around, and, more to the point, since I’m holding you this close, relaxed in your couch, in the sanctuary of this jewel-box of an apartment, I’m guessing that I haven’t scared you away, yet. Which is a very, very good thing, in my estimation.”

    “Sweetheart –“

“Kissing beats talking, baby. Honestly. Won’t you please help me? I am being driven crazy by a golden goddess who visits me every night, and tantalizes and teases me with her scent, her soft, silky skin, insanely hot body, and lately, dizzying kisses –“

“Honey, I understand that you’re horny. I am, too –“

“Yes! Yes! I am extremely horny!” she exploded. “You know what beats kissing, or beats kissing you … which would be very, very tough to beat?”

‘Um …” I said as I re-grabbed her hand, which had been gesticulating wildly in the air as Aerin expressed her clear agitation.

“Fucking! Yes! I said it. Fucking beats kissing which beats talking,” she exclaimed as she hugged me close and gave me a fierce kiss on my hair. “I’ve been fighting this feeling for so long, Chris. And I think you’ve been struggling with this, too. Surely this kind of chemistry requires two people to feel it!”

    Her body was trembling again.

“You’re right, baby. I am going crazy, wanting for this to happen, too,” I admitted softly.

She squeezed me in response. I heard her sigh after a few moments. And then, “So something else must be holding things up. Is there something you want to talk about, Chris? I’m listening, just so sexually frustrated – but listening, I promise you.”

I sensed her relax as I started with a relatively easy topic, “There’s the age gap –“

“You’re not taking advantage of me. I’m the one who’s been chasing you, especially lately. And I’ll happily shout all of that out from the rooftops, and emphasize it to anyone who cares to listen,” she interrupted.

“I’m ten years older than you, Aerin,” I pressed. “I know that people won’t let that go so easily.”

      • Here in spirit. But this is about a few special L words that play out in a couple’s life in another part of town. In the fringes of the world of the series I’ve been writing; but different. Hope you like it.

    1. Will try this again. Left a message about 4:00 this morning and something happened, it’s not posted. My message was to thank you for posting such a beautiful love story. And that I hope this story will be continued we would like to know what happens to Aerin in the future. Thanks for sharing.

    2. Dainty, Hellbent, and new friends: thanks for the comments. Honestly: was tough to pull this together, but it was worth it. Am v glad you liked it. Ok. I hear you. It may take a while for an update on her story, but it will be coming.

      • Well this was a pleasant surprise. I am always seeking an episode from your creativity. So much, I had to buy a smaller electronic device so that I might read your input on the go. Now, for me buying another electronic anything is saying a lot. I am one of the “dial phone” “get up and change the channel” “do not Text me and expect an answer” old school DIE HARD. But, your writing genius persuaded me to become a mobile reader at my neighborhood “coffee house.” Please continue to write

    3. Beautiful story. I could feel Aerin’s struggle. I would love to read about the 18 months in between their first time and Chris’ final moments. I sure it would be moving.
