I spent a few mote hours in the darkness before I heard Sam’s key turn in the door. The sickness came flooding back in heaps and bounds. My stomach in knots. How can I break her heart?

“Honey, I’m home. And guess what got you a nice little surprise”. Sam smiled as she closes the door behind her. Since the moment she had left this morning she couldn’t wait to be in her girlfriends arms. For her the love she felt was like no other. The truth of the matter was she had never been in love until now.

I winced in the darkness, already a complete wreck. How much worse could things get? She had brought me a surprise, and I was definitely going to surprise her all right.

I walked over to the kitchen caught off guard by the softness of her lips on mine. As she held me tight I could feel the want in my body for me to be selfish and have her one last time. I tried to push down the words I needed to say, as I basked in the comfort of her arms. Her hands rested on my hips in the powerful way she possessed my body. I could feel myself sinking further and further into her.

The moan of want escaped her lips and sudden rapid breaths. I could feel the desire, she placed languid kisses placed on my heaving chest. The heat arising in pale chest, I didn’t care. She wanted me. I looked over to the bags she had carried inside. I spotted some wine and a take away. I silently wept as my heart felt like it was being punished. The sweetness of how she looked after me, surprising me whenever she could. It was painstaking and I couldn’t breathe. Not just because aroused but because I had threw our love away.

I let her lips take control of mine. In a merge of unknown desire. My desire for her to still want me this way when i told her the truth. I sobbed hard as I could see what this would do to, go to everyone involved.

Sam unbuttoned my blouse so my heaving chest could breathe but it didn’t seem to make a difference to the turmoil of emotions my heart displayed.
