One Night Stand – (Chapter: Unwanted Visitor)

I scream at one of the nurses, “Get her the hell out of here!!! Now!!!” and then to the one manning the machine, “Give me 300.”
“Ready,” she yells and I scream, “Clear.” Nothing. No vital signs whatsoever.
As I begin CPR again I look over to Melissa and ask, “How long has he been down?”
“Forty minutes,” Melissa says softly
I stop and sigh sadly. I don’t know why but I’m very sad. I always am when I lose a patient. I hate it when death beats me even if in this particular occasion my patient deserved to die. I look up at the clock and say, “Time of death 9:15 pm.”
All the nurses nod their heads and begin to clean him up. Melissa quietly asks me, “Are you going to talk to his parents?”
I nod my head and say, “Page Evans and Baxter. Get them up here.”
“Yes, Dr. Carlin.” Melissa responds
“Where are they? Names?” I ask as I begin to walk out of the room
“Josh and Elizabeth Dennison and they’re in the waiting room,” Melissa says as continues to work
I nod and make my way to the waiting room. Before I open the door I take a deep breath before going in and prepare myself for the worst part of my job. Telling someone their loved one has died is always so hard. I know this is part of my job but it doesn’t make it any easier. Even if it is the bastard that shot my Ashley. His parents must of loved him and it’s going to hurt them very much to have lost him.
I enter the room and they immediately stand up. Mrs. Dennison walks up to me and asks nervously, “Who are you? How is he?”
“I’m Dr. Carlin and I’m on staff at this hospital. Your son went into cardiac arrest and unfortunately we weren’t able to resuscitate him.” I say softly and prepare myself for the inevitable
“You mean, you mean…” Mrs, Dennison stammers as tears run down her face
“Yes, Mrs. Dennison. Your son passed away.” I say softly
“NO!!! NO!!!” Mrs. Dennison screams as Mr. Dennison pulls her into his arms.
Mr. Dennison tearfully asks, “Can we, can we see him?”

Amazing update. I’m so glad Aiden is dead and Aiden’s Mom has her issues by trying to kill Ashley. Poor Ash. I love this story. PMASAP.

Aiden’s gone, would it be heartless of me to say I’m relieved and somewhat happy about that? I hope Aiden’s mom doesn’t try to come back for Ash, but she probably will since she seems to be crazy like her son. The ending was so sweet, and I love that movie Imagine You & Me. Back to the topic, I hope Ash doesn’t become depressed over Aiden’s death, that’d be a whole nother problem and Spashley doesn’t need anymore problems. But…problems equal entertainment, so do what you will, it’s your story and I’m loving it. As usual, another amazing update. Continue with the great work, PMASAP!!!!!!!!!
