“thanks Steph…” I said then I walked in the back and Brooke was leaning on her friends desk with her cute little ass sticking out

“hey baby…” she said smiling then she kissed me quickly

“hey…you almost done?” I asked her

“yeah I just have to get my coat” she told me then she went into her office and I was talking to her friend Lauren

“so she was talking about you a lot today” she told me

“oh yeah? All good things I hope…”

“yeah she was talking about the label and stuff…” she said “…I told her I’d do some promo work for it…”

“oh really? Yeah that’d be awesome…” I told her

“yeah…Lauren hey give me a call about that…” I said

“later girlie…” Brooke said then she looped her arm through mine and my hands were in my pockets

“so how was your day?” I asked her

“very long…” she said “…what about you?”

“productive…and still busy…” I said

“but the label’s going good?” she asked me

“defiantly…we signed someone today” I told her

“baby that’s awesome!” she said hugging me

“I know…it was such a rush…” I told her “…I mean I get to listen to music all day long, it’s the best job in the world…” I said then we got into the car

We got home a little later and Brooke was making dinner when I went upstairs to change into shorts and a sports bra…I looked in my drawer yet again like I had been every night at the engagement ring sitting there…I’m torn, but I shouldn’t be…I mean some people want me with Spencer and other’s want me with Brooke, and Brooke’s been there for me, and she’s amazing and beautiful…basically everything I could ask for…
