    How could this happen?

    She had the hem just below her knees when her cell phone rang from beneath a pile of clothes on her bed. In a completely ‘blond moment’, she made to take a step forward and tripped over herself, “CRAP!” crashing down to the floor with a thud.

    “Everything ok up there?” she heard Clay’s voice call from downstairs.

    “Yeah.” she yelled back. “Just peachy.”

    Getting up on her feet, she hopped over to her bed and collapsed on it, fishing underneath the various garments until she found her cellphone ringing and blinking random colors. “Hello?”

    “Hey Spence, it’s Aiden.”

    It was hard for the girl to hear her friend since there were voices yelling in the background. “Who’s with you and why is there screaming?”

    “Dano doesn’t start til’ a little bit later so she came and picked me and Ash up just in case we wanted to do some drinking tonight. They’re fighting over the music, here, listen.”

    Spencer stifled a giggle as the once distorted voices became clear.

    “Stop touching my damn stereo.”

    “Or what? You’re driving, you can’t do anything.”

    “Or I’ll knock you out with one hand that’s what!”

    “Come on, I have such better music taste than you do.”

    “I am NOT listening to Barbie Girl on the way to a job.”

    “Why the hell not?”

    “Because it’ll fuck up my flow! Now keep your sneaky ass hands away from those dials or I’ll…”

    “Did you get all that?” Aiden said with a laugh.

    The image of Dano smacking away at Ashley’s advances towards her stereo had made the blond laugh till tears began to form. “Yeah. So do you guys plan on drinking?” she managed in between giggles.

    “Probably not. Anyways, we’ll be there in ten minutes if we don’t end up in a ditch.”

    Suddenly all levity vanished. “10 minutes?!”

    “What is there an echo? Yeah 10 minutes. Please tell me you’re ready.”

    “What do you mean she’s not ready?” A voice that could only have been Dano’s questioned.

    “Just tell her to put on a potato sack, she’ll still look hot in it.” Ashley’s voice answered.

    Spencer smiled at her girlfriend’s compliment but their eminent arrival soon made it’s way back into the forefront of her mind. “Ok. 10 minutes, see you soon!”

    9. wow. first of all thank you for the jam packed 7 pages. and secondly, great plotline thus far, all the straight description of how Spashley gets it on gets kind of dry and tiresome. man, i love dano…in a platonic sort of way. esp when she tells glen to shut the fuck up. anyways, keep up the good work. =)
