    How could this happen?

    When the Ford Explorer, blaring Barbie Girl, entered the Carlin’s driveway, the 3 teens got out of the car, each wearing varying expressions on their faces.

    Dano was sporting a clearly pissed off/annoyed as hell look while Aiden was rubbing his temples to ease the headache that the bubblegum pop music had caused. Victorious was the only way to describe how Ashley looked as she strolled up to the front door and knocked on it.

    A moment later, Arthur opened the door and regarded the trio’s attire. Aiden was wearing a plain black polo shirt that showed off his broad chest and moderate sized muscles along with a pair of straight legged blue jeans. The other girl, who’s name he didn’t know, was wearing a black fedora hat with a black button up shirt that had white pinstripes, a silver chain hung around her neck with a Jewish Star and underneath that, she wore a simple white beater along with a belt, a pair of baggy blue jeans and some timberland boots. Ashley had her hair down in brown curls that framed her face, she had opted to go semi-casual in a blue spaghetti strap tank top and a pair of black, skin tight Capri-pants along with some heels.

    The older man had chalked up his assessment to the Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair magazines his wife and daughter left lying around the house. “Come on in kids. Spencer’s still getting ready.”

    “Thanks Mr. C.” Ashley said as she stepped through the doorway.

    Aiden nodded towards Arthur. “Thanks Mr. Carlin.”

    Offering her hand, Dano put on her best smile and introduced herself. “I’m Daniella.”

    “Call her Dano or she’ll beat you up.” Ashley warned from the living room.

    Glaring in the direction of the voice, she didn’t notice Mr. Carlin’s chuckle and warm smile till she turned around at the feeling of a hand grasping her own.

    “Nice to meet you Dano.” he said as he shook her hand. “Do you go to King High too?”

    “No I don’t. I go to Westview Collegiate.”

    “That’s a good school, I hear it has a great athletics program."

    “One of the best in the state.”

    “Well that’s wonderful. Why don’t you wait with the others. I’m sure Spencer will be down sometime this century.”

    9. wow. first of all thank you for the jam packed 7 pages. and secondly, great plotline thus far, all the straight description of how Spashley gets it on gets kind of dry and tiresome. man, i love dano…in a platonic sort of way. esp when she tells glen to shut the fuck up. anyways, keep up the good work. =)
