She walked back to the bed with her serious face on. " Spence, It’ll be ok. I’m sorry I made fun of you. I know its going to be hard. She’ll probably keep you locked up in your house away from me like a prison. But just know this. I will always be here. I won’t give you up without a fight. I love you." She leaned in a kissed me. " I always will."

"I love you too Ash. I guess I better go." I get up to grab my things.

" Come on, I’ll give you a ride. Then run like hell."

I walked cautiously into the house closing the front door quietly, hoping to get upstairs without being noticed. It was still early. But no, SHE was up I could hear her pacing in the kitchen.

"Spencer if that’s you, you’d better have a good excuse!! Especially for ignoring my calls and hanging up on me! Staying out all hours of the night with that..that..ASHLEY!!!." She spat out finally.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple and started to eat it. Mum just looked at me like I was out of my mind. I gave her my best WHAT? Shrug and smirked.

" Don’t be so blasé about this Spencer. No daughter of mine is a ..uh les..ga..That WAY!! God did not put you on this earth to be with another…girl." She whispered ‘girl’.

" Well why am I so good at going down on her then?" I turned and walked to my room. All my mother could do was her best fish impression.

For about an hour, all i could hear were muffled voices. About me I bet.

I walk into the lounge room. My mother was sitting on the lounge. My Father was sitting next to her, looking mighty exhausted. He obviously must have heard what I said to my mother before. I knew this look. Dad must have sat here for the last hour since mum called me, listening to her rant and rave after what I had said to her.
