"You’re gonna regret that"

Shane had an arm wrapped around her waist and took deep breath out of deep breath. She winced with each breath she took, it felt as though a rib had been broken, probably two. Great.

The woman charged Shane again but this time she was ready, dodging and weaving each attack before sending off a round of her own. She too missed but just as the woman threw a hard kick to Shane, the brunette countered, blocking the kick and launching one of her own. She swung around and landed a clean shot to the side of the woman’s head, causing her to grunt and stagger. Shane heard a clank sound, something had hit the floor. She quickly spun around to see an exposed face of the woman she had been fighting. Shane froze at the sight, she felt as thought she was looking at a ghost.

The woman had thick brown hair to match those brown eyes. Her face was rough with scars and filled with anger, Shane remembered how it used to be softer and so full of life and love. She was the most loyal friend anyone could have and while she normally spent her time making witty jokes and comments, there was no one neither Bette nor Shane would have fought beside. Shane nearly cried at the realization of who this woman was, she thought that her best friend was lost forever.

"Dana-"

Shane was quickly silenced by a blow to the cheek, splitting the skin open and causing Shane’s head to whip to the side. Shane lost her balance and fell to the floor as Dana towered over her.

She was about to say something when all of a sudden a flash of gold charged from the side and kicked Dana down to the ground. She fell on her back and gasped as the air left her lungs. Tina now towered over Shane, panting from the run. Shane’s eyesight was starting to fade, she didn’t even have the strength to lift her head up. She could only follow with her eyes as she watched Tina and Dana engage in an all out fight.
