    Dawn arrives

    Bette watched as Shane held tightly onto a flag and ran towards the edge of the tower. As soon as her friend was in midair, the flag opened and she slowly glided toward the grassy ground.

    She turned toward Dana, her friend’s body was shaking uncontrollably. Bette placed comforting hands on her friend’s shoulders as the growling sounds of Jodi’s army became louder.

    "You can do this. Its gonna be okay"

    Dana shook her head, "No . . I-I can’t. Its too high"

    Bette’s heart began to race as she heard banging on a nearby door. They had barricaded it but it wouldn’t be long until the Gooru broke through. Still, Bette never took her eyes off her friend.

    "Yes you can. I’ll be right with you. Trust me"

    Dana swallowed as she nodded. She trusted her friend. Just as Bette and Dana were about to jump, a cold voice froze them in place.

    "You both know I have a front door you can use right?"

    Bette immediately stepped in front of Dana, shielding her from Jodi’s view and whispered so that only her friend could hear.

    "Dana, go"

    Dana’s eyes widened, "What no? Not without you"

    Jodi walked slowly toward the women, confidence in every step she took. She had a smile across her face but her eyes were filled with revenge.

    "Bette sweetie, don’t you know how rude it is to leave a bed after fucking someone?"

    Bette took a deep breath, the memory of what Jodi had just spoke of plaguing her mind. She and Shane said they would do whatever it took to escape the fortress, a fact that nauseated Bette when she thought about what she had to do. Bette used to care for Jodi but this woman, this monster before her wasn’t the same Jodi she had fallen for. This woman in front of her was a power hungry viper. Nothing more.


    "Nothing to say, pet?"

    Bette took another deep breath, "Let Dana go, she has nothing to do with this"

    Dana’s eyes widened, "What? That’s not part of the plan"

    Before Bette could respond, Jodi laughed.

    3. Holy action packed adventure!!!!! Will there be another post at dawn? ; ) This was amazing Liah had me on the edge of my seat. I was dodging and breaking necks too. B&T make a hot battle duo. Loved everything!!! Your stories just get better and better Queen B. Keep up the great work ; )

    4. What excitement! I think the head council member is the trader, the king needs to get better soon I think he finally realised that Bette was not acting of her own accord just before she stabbed him.

    5. Very exciting. I can’t wait to see how they all get out their situation, I’m sure there’s a price on all of their heads, including that of Princess Tina. And then, Jodi and her minions must be lurking at every turn as well… post soon! Thanks :)
