    My beginning of Season 3…six months after Season 2. The ladies meet at The Planet, none of them realizing how shook up their lives are about to become.

     

    A smell began to waft across the table.  Jenny pinched her nose shut with her fingers.  “And I’m not happy, either,” she said, her voice sounding foreign, which only seemed to upset the baby more.

     

    “Damn, Angelica.  Who knew such a big stink could come out a little baby?” Kit asked, making a face.  Beside her, Alice was dramatically pretending to gag.

     

    Bette stood up to help Tina up.  “Well, girls, I guess we’d better be going.”

     

    “Please,” Dana said quickly, hand over her face.  “Not that we’re not, uh, sorry to see you go, but you know”

     

    “Yeah, we know.  Poopy baby,” Tina replied, passing Angelica over to Bette.

     

    Bette’s nose wrinkled.  “Gee, thanks, Tee.”

     

    Tina smiled at her and grabbed her purse.  “Anytime, babe.”

     

    “I thought I was about to have to bust out the Lysol up in here,” Kit said, watching her the trio leave.

     

    “Yeah, but she’s a baby.  You can’t hold it against her.  There’s good and bad.  It’s all part of the beauty of life,” Carmen said, looking philosophical.

     

    “Bad like poopy diapers, huh?” Kit replied.  “You might have to watch this one,” she added, looking at Shane as she jerked her thumb in Carmen’s direction.

     

    “But babies are so cute,” Carmen protested.

     

    “Baby fever.  Yuck,” Dana said, making a face.

     

    “Why?  Don’t you one day want to have one?  Maybe with what’s-her-face?  Lauren, is it?” Alice questioned, using the wrong name purposely.

     

    “Lara,” Dana correctly automatically, cringing at Alice’s tone.  “Of course not.  We’re not even dating.”

     

    “Sure about that?  I’ve seen her stealing glances your way every time she comes out here into the eating area,” Alice threw back bitterly.

     

    Dana looked nervous.  “No, Al.  There’s nothing between us.  We only had a few dates.  It’s not like you didn’t date people either.  And I like someone else, anyway.”

     

    “What else was I supposed to do?  Oh, so there’s another woman, huh?” Alice argued back, trying to keep her voice down.

     

    “Okay, you two.  Enough.  Everyone here is tired of your fighting and dancing around each other.  Why don’t you just hurry up and make up already?  You know you want to,” Shane interrupted.

    10. It’s amazing to me that I like so many fanfiction stories better than the show itself. I loved your Dana and Alice scenes, and for a change, I was interested in reading the other characters’ parts too.
