Always Remember What Is Important! (Part 1 of 3)

Angie heard everything that came from her parent’s room, and when she heard what Tina said, she couldn’t help but burst into tears. The feeling of being unwanted begins to take over her and this broke her heart completely. She never heard the story about Tina not wanting to use a black donor and immediately begin to think that maybe Tina didn’t want to be her mother after all and now regret bringing her in this world. Angie cried herself to sleep and when she opened her eyes, all she could hear was her alarm clock going off stating that it was 7:00am and time to get up for school.

    The Kitchen…

Bette was at the table drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper when Angelica came walking into the kitchen. She wondered if Angelica had heard any of the words that were said last night between her and Tina, if so she could only imagine what Angie must be thinking right about now.

Bette: Hey sweetie, are you ready for school?

Angie just nodded her head not really knowing what to say this morning after everything she had heard last night between her parents. Bette saw that Angie seemed a little sad this morning and she prayed that it wasn’t because of the fight…she thought to ask Angelica if she had heard any of their argument and before she could get the first word out, Tina came walking into the kitchen making a point to not make eye contact with Bette.

Tina: Angie I will be ready to drive you to school in about five minutes, do you have everything?

Angie gave Tina an annoyed look and wanted nothing more than to ride with Bette this morning but Bette had an early meeting and Angelica school was out the way so she had to ride with Tina.

Angelica: You know what I’m going to just walk this morning.

Tina: Angelica I said I will be ready to take you just let me pour a cup of coffee…

Angelica: Well I don’t want to ride with you!

Angie cut Tina off which cause a quick glance up from both parents.

Tina: Well you have no choice and what’s with the attitude young lady?
