Angelica: Whatever…I’ll be in the car.

Angelica got up and grabbed her backpack then stormed out the door.

Tina: I don’t know what’s getting into her lately.

Tina sighed then looked at Bette who was watching the whole conversation between mother and daughter without interfering, Tina looked at Bette in a way of asking for information of what was going on with Angie.

Tina: Well?

Bette: Well what?

Bette said in an agitated tone.

Tina: You know what never mind…I gotta go.

Tina snatches her keys off the table and walked towards the door.

Tina: Unbelievable!

Bette closed her eyes trying to stop the tears that were threatening her eyes again…her family was falling apart and she didn’t know how to stop it.

Inside Tina’s car…

Tina had country music playing on the radio but when she looked over at Angelica, she needed to know what was bothering her daughter so she turned the radio down and focus her attention towards Angelica.

Tina: Angelica is there something bothering you?

Angelica didn’t answer, not even showing any acknowledgment that Tina was even speaking to her and this fury Tina that Angie was showing such disrespect lately.

Tina: Angie! Do you not hear me talking to you…what’s going on with you, why the attitude as of late.

Angelica: MOTHER (saying in a sarcastically tone) there’s nothing wrong with me…I’m totally fine.

The sarcastic coming from Angie didn’t go unnoticed to Tina, but they were in front of Angie’s school and she needed to hurry and get to work for an important meeting so she decided to let it go for now.

Tina: You know what we will definitely be having to this conversation later but right now you need to get in class so you won’t be late…Mama will be here to pick you up after school so…

Angie didn’t wait for Tina to finish her sentence before she opened the door and hopped out then slightly slamming it behind her. Tina was heated but there was nothing she could do right now so she started the car and drove off. About twenty minutes later, she stepped off the elevator on the top floor heading into her office, everyone saw the look on her face and knew today wouldn’t be the day to bother her or they might just be fire so everyone silently told themselves to stay out of her way. She walked straight to her office without speaking to her assistant, closing the door behind her and took a seat in the chair then buried her face in her hands as tears were started to roll down her cheeks again for the millionth time. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door and quickly started straighten herself up before answering.

Tina: What is it??

Ashley Tina’s assistant peeked her head in the door.

Ashley: Sorry to bother you boss, but your 9 o clock meeting is waiting for you.

Tina: Coming.

Ashley quickly shut the door, she didn’t want to be caught in the crossfire but that didn’t stop her from noticing the dry stains on Tina’s face which meant that she had been in the there crying her eyes out. Ashley had been Tina’s assistant for three years now and she was very familiar with Bette and Tina’s relationship…I mean who wasn’t…they were the IT couple of West Hollywood. Lately Ashley been noticing the agitated moods of Tina and realize that it had been awhile since Bette been to the office, usually she would come and surprise Tina with flowers or lunch but not in the recent months. Ashley looked down pretending to be working when she heard Tina’s door opening.

Tina: Ashley send all my calls to voicemail…ALL CALLS!

Ashley knew Tina was referring to Bette calls also which confirmed…there was trouble in paradise!

Ashley: You got it.

Tina walked into the board meeting and took a seat at the head of the table.

The meeting…

Tina: Ok so as you all know today Aaron will be bringing in a new director to work on the ”Christmas Holiday” film so I want to make sure everyone is on board with what they need to do. I want this production on budget, no exceptions! Last film cost us a fortune and it was my ass that got chewed up for it and that won’t be happening again.

Just then Aaron came walking through the doors with the new director. Tina looked at the man then closed her eyes because she knew this was going to be bad.

Man: Hey Tina, long time no see?

Tina put a fake smile on her face and tried to act as professional as possible.

Tina: Hey Henry, hi are you?
