    Keeping the party going.

    Tina: Hey everyone. Goes over hugs Alice and Shane from behind then picks up Angelica, kisses her and slips into her seat putting Boo on her lap.

    Angelica: I’ll get your cake for you Mommy. Bette rolls her eyes as she knows what her daughter is up to.

    Tina: Thank you baby. So how was basketball?

    Angelica: It was fun, but I had to show Aunt Alice how to makes some baskets. She did good after I showed her.

    Tina: Well good thing she has you to show her how, huh?

    Angelica: Yup. I’m finished my cake, can I have some of yours mommy?

    Tina: Sure I’ll share with you baby. Angelica lights up and Bette just roll her eyes.  So Alice and Shane what are you too up to tonight?

    Shane:  We are not sure Papi is picking us up here around midnight so anything could happen.

    Bette: And knowing you three it probably will, just keep it legal OK?

    Alice: Bette I’m insulted that you’d suggest otherwise.  Breaks out into a laugh at her own joke.

    Tina: Well I think I’m gonna jump in the pool tonight. I already put on my suit.

    Angelica: I wanna swim too.

    Bette: Well we have to put on your suit if your Mommy wants the company.

    Tina: She can join me, but you’ll need to wait a bit since you just ate dinner OK.

    Angelica: Aww.

    Bette: Well you either wait or go to bed now.

    Angelica: I can wait. The girls laugh at her quick decision.

    Alice: Actually I’m gonna head home and rest up for tonight Shane call me around 11 to make sure that I’m up OK?

    Shane: Yea, actually I’m gonna head home and do the same. Thanks for dinner and I had fun playing hoops PJ.

    Alice:  Yea PJ thanks for coaching me too.

    Angelica: You’re welcome; I had fun too. Now I’m gonna have more fun in the pool with my Mommy.

    Bette: I’ll walk you out Alice. Shane are you just going through the back yard?

    Shane: Yup, my own private entrance, catch ya later gang.

    Everyone: Bye Shane.

    Bette: Come on Boo let’s go walk Aunt Alice out then we can put on our bathing suits, OK?

    Angelica: I’m coming Momma. Hops off of Tina’s lap and catches up with Alice and Bette. Bye bye Aunt Alice.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
