    Keeping the party going.

    Angelica: That’s OK Aunt Alice you just have to keep practicing like me, right Momma.

    Bette: That’s right baby. How about you just practice with Aunt Alice while Shane and I have a rest?

    Angelica: OK come on watch me and do like me Aunt Alice. Bette and Shane chuckle at the little coach.

    Bette: Hey we have leftovers from last night, are you’re going to join us for dinner right?

    Shane: Count me in last night was great I’d love round two.

    Alice: Me too this little hoopster is making me hungry.

    Angelica: I just want more cake please.

    Bette: Well you know that’s not going to happen. So you stay and play with your aunt Alice and I’ll call you for dinner when it’s ready.

    Angelica: OK Momma.

    At about 7pm the girls head out back to enjoy their leftover feast. Angelica is lucky enough to get a hot dog and veggie salad for her meal. Bette wasn’t convinced she’d eat the fancy food again and didn’t need the stress on a Friday night.

    Bette: This food is even better as leftovers.

    Shane: Yea I really like this chicken dish.

    Alice: Well I’m with Boo I’m can’t wait to have more cake.

    Angelica: Finished. Can I have some cake now please?

    Bette goes into the house and begins cutting cake for everyone. Tina comes through the door before she’s finished.

    Bette:  Hey baby! Greets Tina with a kiss. You are just in time for dessert the girls are out back with Angelica.

    Tina: Baby I am so glad to be home. Thank you for stopping by with dinner. I needed to eat and seeing you too brightened my day.

    Bette: Do you want me to send the girls over to Shane’s?

    Tina: No, I want you to cut me a big slice of cake, grab me some milk and make a space for me at the table. I’m going to change and be right out.

    Bette: OK baby we’ll see you in a bit. Kisses Tina lightly, adds her hunk to the tray and grabs milk for she and Angelica

    Bette: T just got home and will be out in a bit. The biggest piece is for her. Angelica has a shocked look on her face as she assumed she’d get the biggest slice. Bette serves everyone setting Tina’s slice in the middle. Angelica just stares at Tina’s slice as she eats her own.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
