    Keeping the party going.

    Kit: Wow you two really moved well together. How did you learn the steps Bette?

    Bette: When we were in San Diego this little one said good morning to me without tearing her eyes away from the screen; just a wave. My competitive streak kicked in and I did my research on the High School Musical and learned to love it with my daughter. We dance to it all the time, right Boo?

    Angelica: Yup and Momma is really good; she helped me. Mommy can’t really do it though. It’s funny to watch her try. The table erupts and Tina does an eye roll.

    Kit: Well I have a special family style dinner planned for you tonight, so get ready to eat up.

    Bette: We’re going to go get cleaned up and will be right back so bring the food out while we’re gone. I’m actually really hungry. Tina, Bette and Angelica head to the bathroom.

    Stranger: to Bette You two were really good out there.

    Bette: Thanks we have fun at home with it and we’re celebrating tonight so what better way than a dance with my little girl.

    Stranger: She is absolutely beautiful and adorable. Have you ever considered letting her perform? Acting or dancing? Can she sing?

    Bette: Well she’s a kid and they all sing; especially if they think no one is watching.  My wife works in the industry, but we’ve never involved our daughter in the business.

    Stranger: Oh what does your wife do?

    Bette: She runs Shaloin Studios.

    Stranger: That’s Tina Kennard’s daughter?

    Bette: Yes, that’s our daughter.

    Stranger: Wow then she already knows you have a little jewel on your hands. Sorry to take your time.

    Bette: Who are you?

    Stranger: See I was so taken with your performance I couldn’t even give my sales pitch correctly. I’m Shelia Stone and I have my own talent agency. Passes Bette her card.  As I’ve said you’re already in good hands and I don’t mean to take time from your celebration. Have a great night.

    Tina: I heard that conversation. Never heard of that agent, I’ll have to have her checked out.  Interesting that she knew who I was.

    Bette: T, you run a studio, she should know the heads by name, especially a woman.  Come on Boo let me help you wash your hands. Angelica and Bette wash up together while Tina uses the other sink.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    9. lwsho2005. i have been reading this story from the beginning, and i love it. Angie is DO flippin cute I can’t stand it! I wonder how she’ll react to not being the only child … hmmm. looking forward to the next chappy! Happy new year

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
