Melvin: “you aren’t going anywhere until my men are done with you”
Aaron: “I didn’t order the attempt to your daughter, I swear”
Melvin: “this is not about her; I want the signed documents you stole from me… well, as a bonus I want to know who disobeyed my orders to stop any action against my daughter”
Aaron: “it wasn’t me, please, Melvin, I’m loyal to you”
Melvin: “no, you aren’t, you were delaying the selling of the branch to get a bigger profit, how you dare, you don’t even own an inch of that business”
Aaron: “I’m sorry, Melvin, it was too much risk for me”
Melvin: “this happens to you for playing smart, you really believed that you were the master of this game, that the building was yours?”
Aaron: “no, I didn’t, please, Melvin”
Melvin: “you’re a low life, Aaron; I don’t know what William saw in you”
Aaron was desperate, one of the thugs has wrapped an arm on his shoulders and was pressing him tight and the other is now grabbing his thigh; desperation leads people to do the worse mistakes.
Aaron: “fine, Melvin, that building isn’t mine…, neither is yours, if you hurt me I’ll tell the truth to your daughter”
Melvin was angry he turner to the back where Aaron was and punched him in his face, the bald man cried and a thread of blood fell from his nose, the lawyer made a sign to his men and closed the partitioning window with the back seat; even though the glass was thick it couldn’t stop the muffled noise from whatever was happening in the back seat, Melvin just relaxes and starts the music from his siriux-xm.
The car entered to a subterraneous garage where a bodyguard opened the door for Melvin; the back door of the car also opened, one of the thugs got off the car smiling and buckling his trousers followed by Aaron hardly walking and silently crying, his face terrified by fear and pain, his torn shirt unbuttoned, his red-gold patterned tie was tying his hands behind his back, his unbuttoned pants are hanging from his hips, the bald man is missing a shoe, behind him was the other thug throwing the suit and the missing shoe, this last one stood behind the director of Lower Manhattan, kicking his ass… ‘hurry up whore’

Oh no….Melvin is about to see Tina! This does not sound good. I still do not know why Melvin should not know that Tina is at the company, but that is what everyone including Bette has indicated. What a drama!!!
This was a very good chapter. Glad the girls got away from the bank without being detected. The plan worked well.
Now, what in the hell is Fay Buckley been up to? Buckley, Fremont and Learner have been trailing after Bette for six months. What are they up to? It appears that Aaron has been working for Buckley instead of the other way around.
This is an intriguing story and I want to know more. Thank you for this chapter and I hope the you can give us more soon.

Yes, we still don’t know what is the problem with Melvin seeing Tina, but the concern is different with Bette than with Kit and the old generation. Bette fears that her father will use Tina against her, but Kit, Peggy have other motivations to avoid Melvin to see Tina, that is taylored with Melvin and Maxine’s pasts.
Buckley is an important piece in this puzzle, and she will reveal something to Malvin very soon.

Glad the girls were out of the building before Melvin and his man got to the bank. They are so clever!
I am almost feeling sorry for Aaron, he surely will not survive this. So, he is the one working for Faye Buckley? We already knew Kelly and Jodi work for her. The bitches, i hope they get what they deserve. Stupid woman.
Please let Tina stay hidden from Melvin, they can’t meet. Melvin will do anything to protect him self and if he can use Tina to get Bette he will do it.
