Bad Students

Ms. Williams yelled out to the class who only ignored her by running out the door so fast, they almost knocked her down.
Bette: Next year?
Bette said in horror then looked up at the ceiling and folded her hands to pray.
Bette: Please oh please don’t tell me she will be our teacher again next semester, I mean really what is this…Boy Meets World.
Ms. Williams had been one of Bette’s teachers ever since third grade and Bette thought since she will be a high school student next year, she will finally have all new teachers but that dream is now dead. Of course this was devastating news to Bette, who as of now was still squeezing her eyes tightly pleading to God for hope.
Ms. Williams: Elizabeth!
Bette jumped out of her prayer when she heard the teacher calling her name.
Bette: Yes Mr. Feeny!
Ms. Williams: Who?
The teacher looked shock at Bette’s insult.
Bette: I mean Ms. Williams, sorry.
Bette quickly corrected and shook her head trying to snap back into reality.
Ms. Williams: As I was saying, you will sit here until I get back and if I see that you had left this classroom for one second…well let’s just say you will be seeing a whole lot of me this summer.
Ms. Williams smirked at Bette then turned to leave the classroom.
Bette: Great. Just freaking great!
Bette shouted across the empty room knocking her text books on the floor, throwing a childish temper tantrum.
Tina: Babe.
Bette looked up and immediately begin to calm down when she heard her girlfriend’s soft, angelic voice.
Bette: Did Alice tell you I was still in here?
Tina: Yeah, she said you have detention for disruption.
Tina came over and sat on top of her girlfriend’s desk running her fingers along Bette’s long curly dark locks, it was the only thing that could soothe Bette down at time like these when she was upset.
Bette: But did she tell you why I was in detention?
Tina: It doesn’t matter why Bette, you should’ve known Ms. Williams wasn’t going for anything you did.
Ms. Williams always seemed to give Bette a harder time than the other students, not because she wanted to pick on her, but because she knew Bette had great potential and it sadden her to see Bette waste it on being the class clown.
