“Hi, I’m here to adopt a puppy,”

“Oh yess, let me go get Mrs. Carter out here and she can assist you. Just one question, are you looking for a puppy or an adult dog?”

“A puppy, thanks,”

“Alright, I will be right back, you can take a seat if you like,” The women pointed to a line of chairs against the wall.

“Ok, thank you,” Bette took a seat. She sat there and wondered if Tina had woken up yet. Low and behold she felt her cell phone going off, Tina had texted her and asked where she was, Bette smiled ‘only if you knew Tina,’ she thought.

A few minutes later a woman walked out and greeted Bette a moment later, “Hi, I’m Kerry Carter and I hear you want to adopt a puppy?” The lady asked with interest,

“Yes, it is for my partner’s birthday”

“Ohh she will just love this present then. Let me show you to the room where all the puppies are held. Any specific type of breed you had in mind?” The women said while walking towards a room in the back.

“Well, Tina, that’s my partners name Tina, she likes pugs,”

“Yes, we have two litters of them in here,”

They entered the room and Bette was a little overwhelmed by the puppies being held there, she’s never seen so many dogs all at once, except for the movie 102 Dalmatians but that didn’t count because it was a movie. Some of the puppies were just lazying around and others were barking and running around at the sight of the doors opening. As Bette walked by the cages; she had to admit that there were some pretty cute puppies in here.

“Here is a litter of puglets that were born about 2^1/2 months ago. This litter consists of one male and two females.” The women said,

“Uhmm, can I see the female please,”

“Yes of course, which one would you like to see?”

One was full black and was playing around with her brother, and the other was a light gray one with a black face who was sniffing around to see what was going on outside the cage.

“Uhm, can I see the gray one please,” Bette said taking more interest then she thought.
