    “Great show. I’ll keep watching this.” Bette says as they are getting ready for bed. “Why don’t we make it a weekly date. Once a week, we’ll watch a few episodes, snuggled up together on the sofa.” Tina suggests. “I’d love to. Any time snuggled up with you is my favorite time.” Bette whispers as

    “Great show. I’ll keep watching this.” Bette says as they are getting ready for bed.

    “Why don’t we make it a weekly date. Once a week, we’ll watch a few episodes, snuggled up together on the sofa.” Tina suggests.

    “I’d love to. Any time snuggled up with you is my favorite time.” Bette whispers as she leans in and kisses Tina. “Love you.” She adds.

    Moments later they were both in bed and seconds later both are asleep.

    The next morning went by quickly. Bette’s appointment at the hospital were at 10. They had both slept until 8 and were starting to stress about the time. But they made it with 10 minutes to spare.

    A nurse had come out to get them when it was their time. Bette had taken a hold of Tina’s hand for support as they walked down the hallway to the doctor’s office. Once inside they were greeted by Dr. Stenton.

    “Bette, Tina. Hi, how are you this morning?” He asks as they take a seat in front of his desk.

    “We’re good. Nervous off course.” Bette replies.

    “Yeah, I can understand that. So how has this last month been?” He asks.

    “It’s been good. Had some sick days right after the last radiation, but other than that, I have been slowly getting my strength back. Hair is starting to come back also.” Bette says.

    “That’s great to hear. So why don’t we just get on with the tests. First off, is MR, then we’ll do a full workup of blood tests.” He says, looking through his papers on his desk.

    “Sure.” Bette agrees.

    “So, first thing, you can go up one floor and to the MR lab. They are waiting for you there in room 2. Just knock on the door. And then after that, you’ll come back down here and, let them know at the nurse’s station that you are back, and they will show you to the lab to do the blood tests. There you have your schedule for the next 40 minutes. Tina you are not able to go inside the MR lab with her, so you have to wait outside.” Dr. Stenton says.

    “Sure, that’s ok.” Tina gives him a smile.

    “So, I’ll see you back here after you’re done. Just wait at the nurse’s station when blood tests are done, and one will bring you back here.” Dr. Stenton finishes.

    One hour later they are walking to their car. Dr. Stenton told them that he would call as soon as the results were back. It would take two days.

    “I was hoping to get some answers today, but now I have to wait two more days.” Bette says a little disappointed that she didn’t get any information today.

    “Those two days will go by quickly babe. You are in full remission. I just know it.” Tina says as she squeezes Bette’s hand lovingly as they drive home.

      Glad that Bette seems okay and the radiation will go on as scheduled…. I look forward to her recovering from this completely and regaining her energy and balance.

      Bette and Tina have a life to rebuild and that is going to take some time and energy…

    3. Welcome back! This is very exciting! I am so happy just to see your name. And I totally agree with Martha. Hoping for the day when this dreaded disease is behind Bette. Glad she has Tina. I think it’s interesting that they are watching the Foster’s. Good choice! So Bette is nervous and Tina is confident. Feel so sorry for Bette. Two days will be an eternity.

    4. So excited to see an update today! Then I realized it is the same as previous chapter. No worries. I know there have been some problems with posting stories. I do hope there is an update soon.

    6. I do not know how this happened, but my Chapter 33 comments are on Chapter 34….

      This chapter the final radiation has taken place and now they are testing to see if more treatment is needed. Bette is nervous and Tina is trying to keep her calm….

      They are getting closer…. but Bette is still in recovery mode and therefore probably doesn’t want to stress over her and Tina’s relationship. It really isn’t time for her to talk about their problems and why Tina left the relationship. But sooner or later, that is something they will need to discuss.

      I really hope Bette is in full remission and can slowly work on her overall health and the relationship between her and Tina.

      The Fosters, somehow i never had interest to watch that show, maybe i will watch it in the future.

      I hope you will find the balance between work, your spare free time and writing this great story!
