    you all know

    After many moments of awkwardness, and silent pauses, they all decided to set camp in Alices living room and just try to get even one wink of sleep. Though it was impossible for Tina, the others could not either till finally Tinas eyes so heavy shut themselves and the others knowing she was asleep they too felt better about closing their eyes.

    Then around 4:00 the door was being pounded on.
    Alice was waking up as the others were already sitting down looking at her with questions.

    Dont look at me I wasnt expecting anyone.
    Then Tinas eyes begin to fill with tears, she knew who it was.
    Its Bette.
    Then Alice got up to ask from the hallway who it was.
    Alice its me, I know she is in there. T, please just open up.
    Bette please just go home.
    Bette not liking that response just began to beat the door even harder,
    Tina, open the door please, T, please just let me in.
    Tina started to cry, she ran to Alices room and slammed the door. Alice afraid to wake everyone else in her building decided to let her in.
    Fine Ill open up but you have to be quieter Bette, Im serious.
    Please Alice, just open up.

    Shane and Dana were now standing just waiting for Bette to come through that door. Neither was sure of what to do or say, but they stood firm as Alice opened up. And as she walked in, they saw a woman they had never seen before. She stood there and they quickly noticed her right cheek bruising up and on the other a bruise just big enough to resemble a bite. They noticed a few more down her neck and when all their eyes met, they looked into the deep brown ones and didnt know who they were looking at. You could tell she had been crying and her once filled eyes looked so weak.

    Bette knowing they wanted to ask or say something just couldnt right now.

    Look guys please not right now. Where is she?

    They all looked at each other not wanted to tell her anything except for what was on the tip of their tongues. Bette noticing they all held back just went on looking for her. She knew she could only be in one place.
    Standing on the other side of the door, she stood as close as she could,

    2. Damn! Now, that was intense and probably one of the few fics to have Bette come directly over and face Tina right after the blowup.

    8. Wow is right. I think Tina needs to work on her temper. Why is it that when she was hurting Bette by holding onto her face real tight, and then hitting her in the face, no one tried to stop her, but when Bette grabbed Tina’s hands to protect herself, Shane wanted to come to the rescue? Throwing the ring may have made a good point, but it is never a good thing to throw something at someone and draw blood. The emotions were raw, the writing very good!

    9. Nicely done. I like the way Bette went to find Tina – even if it didn’t turn out the way she intended.
      The ring hitting her square in the chest was awesome!
