    “Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life Too”
    One giant leap…

    Tina lowered her voice to a whisper. She was feeling more vulnerable now than ever.

    Tina: Is that how you would treat me?

    Jess didnt answer. She rose up higher on her knees and met Tinas mouth with her own. The kiss was long and passionate. Tina kept her eyes closed, hoping and praying this was all a nightmare. When she opened them surly it would be Bette she was kissing. It wasnt. Tina realized she had 2 options, she either broke this kiss and ran from the boat back to Arizona (which didnt really seem viable) or she continued the kiss and enjoyed her evening. She let some stranger rip her from her awful reality and take her somewhere, anywhere that wasnt here. When Jess removed her mouth from Tinas to catch her breath Tina pulled her back in.

    Tina: All I have felt for weeks is nervousness and anticipation for something that obviously could never happen. Tonight I want to feel something different. Something better.

     

    Jess moved her hand from Tinas face and slide it down Tinas back. She reached under the light T shirt Tina was wearing and unsnapped her bra as quickly as she could, eliciting a soft cry from Tinas lips.

    Jess: Ill do whatever you want.

    Bette: Thats still my job.

    Tina: Bette! Oh my god.

    Tina quickly reached around her back and hooked the bra back into place.

    Jess: Sorry Bette, but I think you sealed your fate tonight.

    Bette: Jess get lost.

    Tina: Wait, you two know each other.

    Bette: We did. A long time ago.

    Jess: yeah, I pick up the pieces. I always have. Right Bette.

    Tina: What?

    Jess: Bette and I a little fling a few years ago, didnt we Bette.

    Bette just looked down her face flushed with anger.

    Tina: Is that true Bette?

    Bette: Yes.

    Jess: Tell her what happened Bette.

    Bette didnt respond.

    Jess: Tell Her! She deserves to know.

    Bette still didnt say a word.

    Jess: Then I will. Tina, Bette and I were a couple many years ago. It was hot and heavy for a while there. We fell in love or so I thought. In fact we had made plans to move in together. I supported her in her career. Because after all it was always about your career Bette wasnt it?
