(Bette) Is there anything you still need to do before you go?

Tina shakes her head as she has a sip of her drink.

(Tina) No, just pack

Bette gives a small laugh and looks up at her for a moment.

(Bette) You haven’t packed?

Tina looks down at her and smiles.

(Tina) No

Bette smiles and reaches for her phone, checking the time.

(Bette) Do you think you should maybe hurry? You’re being picked up at your place in what? Two hours?

Tina smiles.

(Tina) I find packing just fills whatever time you allocate it, so I always leave it to the very last minute

Tina shrugs, and Bette frowns and nods. Tina smiles and reaches down and moves the hair from Bette’s eyes.

(Tina) I imagine you have a different approach?

Bette looks at her with raised eyebrows and they both laugh.

(Bette) A bit different, yes

A short while later, they arrive together to Tina’s house and walk through the entrance and to the base of the stairs.

(Tina) Do you want to wait down here? Or you can come keep me company?

(Bette smiles) Sure, I’ll come

They walk up the stairs to Tina’s bedroom and Bette watches as Tina moves to the walk-in wardrobe and pulls a suitcase down from a shelf. Tina looks to her and nods towards the bed.

(Tina) Sit down anyway, I won’t be long

Bette nods and sits down on the bed as Tina opens the suitcase and places it on the bed next to Bette, turning back to her wardrobe and looking through her clothes.

(Bette) Are you checking a bag? How many are you planning on bringing?

Tina smiles and shakes her head as she looks over at her from the wardrobe. Bette looks back at her and smiles.

(Bette) What?

Tina moves towards her, standing in front of her and raising an eyebrow.

(Tina) You’re not helping me pack

Bette laughs, smiling up at her as she places her hands on Tina’s hips.

(Bette) OK

Bette moves her hands slowly around Tina’s waist and pulls her closer.

(Tina smiles) I thought I hadn’t allowed enough time for packing?

They hold each other’s gaze and smile at one another as Bette runs her hands slowly down the back of Tina’s legs.
