Tina: That sounds good. That way we could unlock the door without a key when we arrive back from a trip.

Bette: Or we can check to see if the doors are locked or unlocked at any time. I also want some cameras set up for the halls and the entry ways and the exterior of the house. Maybe even one in the study.

Tina: What if we have guest in the study?

Bette: We will decide what to do about that when it occurs. I am not going to become a voyeur at this late stage of my life. However, if it were children staying in the room, I would want to know if they go nosing around my desk or yours. I am also concerned about young children and the pool. You’ve got me thinking now.

Tina: Well, let’s go upstairs and relax. We can put that on our to do list. Except for James’s children, I don’t anticipate that there will be any young children for a while.

Bette:  Dana and Allyson will be here Thanksgiving.

Tina: Oh yeah, that’s right. When we call Jim about the arrangements for New Haven, talk to him about it. Surely, he has run into this before.

Bette: I think we are finished down here. Looks like Kit and Sonny are getting along well. I wondered how they would do once they both quite working.

Tina: Well, they are still teasing each other and none of it is really derogatory. That is a good sign. I know that Sonny loves Kit with all his heart. And she adores him.

Bette: Do you think Sonny has given up that idea of a recreational vehicle?

Tina:  He hasn’t said anything about it today. I think so.

Once they reached the room, they went to the bathroom and started their night grooming routines. Bette then came up behind Tina and pulled her into a hug and kissed her with a I love you kiss.

Bette: Would you mind if I woke you early for a little personal intimacy? I want you now but I’m not really ready. But I think by the time the sunrises, I am going to not only want you but need you desperately.

Tina: I would be thrilled for you to make love to me in the morning. Will we have time for a little recovery?

Bette: We will take the time for recovery. Everyone in the house are adults and all of them know their way around a kitchen. So, if we are a little late in getting up, I’m sure they will be kind enough to overlook it and go on with breakfast.

Tina: Do you think they we know we having sex?

Bette: They will not know, but they will suspect and they may look for other signs to confirm or deny their suspicions. You know, like suck marks, or a shit eating grin that simply cannot be wiped away, or that look of a love sick puppy.

Tina:  Yeah, that would do it. Oh well, nothing I can do about that. It will be what it’s going to be. We need to act and do what is best for us. So, if the mood strikes you, please bring it on.

Bette: Thank you Sweetheart. I love you a lot you know.

Tina: You’re just saying that because it’s true. I love you too. Everything is going to be okay. We are going to face tomorrow and the next day and the next, together. I’m here for you Bette and I always will be.

Bette: I know you will, because I am not going to let you get too far away. I want you in my life. Hell, I need you in my life or it won’t make sense. You are my rock, Tina. I depend on you to keep me grounded.

Tina: You keep me grounded as well. Come on, let’s go to bed. I believe I have an early morning appointment with my woman.

They kissed and then went to the bed, turned out the lights and dropped their robes and slid into bed. They kissed some more and held each other close and then relaxed into sleep.
