Once dinner was over, Lisa took Lillabette and Jason to the cabana and set them up to watch a movie for about an hour. James went ahead and opened the Murphy bed and they both wanted to watch the movie from the bed. Lisa agreed and set them up in the bed. She hoped that they would fall asleep and would be down for the night.

Tina, Mary, Margaret and Jeanette all helped with cleaning the dinner dishes and the kitchen. Bette, Paris and James excused themselves to go to the study and have their meeting. Bette offered them some coffee while they were meeting. James gladly accepted.

Bette: So, James, how are you doing these days?

James:  I’m doing well. The gallery is doing well. We have our final gallery opening next Friday and that show will stay up until mid-January. The next show is anxious to start their shipments. Sales have been brisk this fall. We have sold almost all of your collection. The staff is ready for the December schedule. I believe we are in for another good year.

Bette: How about you personally James?

James: Lisa and I are doing well. We are welcoming our child in late March. And we have decided this is going to be our last one. This one was somewhat of a surprise. We did not exactly plan this one. But that’s okay. It is on the way and we have room for him or her. I couldn’t be happier.

Paris: Well, Lisa seems to be doing well.

James: She is still in that period of time where she’s is struggling with her energy level. But if I remember right, within a couple of weeks, I’m to one who is going to be struggling to keep up with her. And that is a good thing because it will be holiday time and the kids will be home for a couple of weeks. She will need a good amount of energy to keep up with Lillabette and Jason.

Bette: In the old days, I would have recommended that you best eat your Wheaties. Because not to be too personal, but this is when the sex drive of a pregnant lady goes into overdrive.

James: I forgot about that. Good thing, she’s already pregnant.
