Bette: Is this going to be a public school or a private school?

Tina:  It’s a public school. I’ve reviewed them and they have excellent academic programs, sport and the arts as well.

Bette: Do you want me to do the application process or do you want to handle it?

Tina: I’ll do this one. Margaret will help and you can review it before it goes out if you like.

Bette: I trust you will do a good job. Just need someone to check for spelling and punctuation errors. That’s all.

Tina: How is Mary’s move going?

Bette: I’m trying to encourage her to ship the boxes of things as she completes them so that when she closes on the house, she has her suit case and that’s it. She gets on the plane and heads to LA. Hopefully, we will start getting her boxes in next week. A few a week until they are all here.

Tina: Okay, next Sunday, let’s have Kit, Sonny, Paris and Jeanette over for dinner and update them on what we found here in Philadelphia. We could zoom Mary in so she could be a part of the meeting.

Bette: Yes, that would be a good idea. I’d like to get this behind us. I’ll put that on my calendar.

Tina:  Anything else?

Bette:  May I take you out for your anniversary?

Tina:  Oh, that’s sweet honey, but let’s wait and make that decision on Sunday. We have Friday and Saturday night here and we will be having dinner out and celebrating. We may not need another night out so soon. And Daniel may spend the night at John David’s next weekend since we will all be at Big Bear the following weekend.

Bette:  Does Margaret have any plans for this fall break?

Tina:  I haven’t asked her.

Bette:  Well, I hate to leave her at that house alone. Maybe she will have something planned.

Tina:  Oh, I heard that Marilyn has found a house in Oregon in Portland. It’s a five bedroom and five bath home as well.  Helena says she will close on it at the end of the month. She plans to spend the summers in this house. And she wants to spend the fall, winter and spring in New York.  She is busy settling in the New York apartment. And Dylan says she loves the place.

Bette: And have they started work on Peggy’s apartment subdividing it up?

Tina: They are working on the plans and demolition starts in November. It’s going to be at least a two-year project. But they are confident that they are going to make some big money out of the place. And there is the construction of the farm inn in Scotland is underway. Helena and Dylan have become regular real estate tycoons.

Bette:  Well, it keeps them busy.

Tina: Sweetie, are you ready to go to bed. I need some cuddling.

Bette: That’s an offer I cannot refuse. You go turn down the covers and I’ll get some water and we head in that direction.

Tina: I need to lotion my legs and arms before I actually climb into bed.

Bette: Me too. I love you, Tina…

Tina:  I love you, Bette. Come here.

The kissed and held each other close and kissed again. And then Tina got up and headed for the bedroom. After their nightly routine was completed, they stripped naked and crawled into bed. They kissed and held each other close and then began to position themselves in their normal sleeping positions. It had been a long day. Sleep came easily.
